The Verizon Support is the biggest scam.

Ok it's going to be rather long so brace yourself. I have shortened it to the main disappointments this is about 1/2 of my experiences.

I have always thought Verizon has the best internet but just realized recently has the worst customer service.

So I got a Nintendo Wii, and finally I decided to tackle the problem my modem has with letting anything else use it besides my computer which has been haunting me for years. So I casually try to connect by "finding an access point" but for some reassurance to make sure I couldn't have had XBL for 2 years now and it doesn't work. So I decide to put it in manually after searching this forum and the Wii support page. I get a error code of 53100 so I go. "Time to contact Verizon". So I see this thing called Verizon Premium support only to realize it's a expensive house call(which I hate). So I luckily find options that i don't have to pay for Like emailing them and this Livechat thing.

This time I am trying to get access to my modem again since I have forgotten my password to access it and to be able for my Wii to connect to the internet.

So I send out the email hoping for the best only to find out they won't back an email and I still haven't received that email. I go back already angry about my non replied email. I decide to choose the Verizon Livechat thinking at least I'll get a reply. I do it and I get a guy that actually was smart and knew my problem. But as my luck permits my computer freezes up and I have to go again. I go again to get the worst tech support I have ever seen, obviously from India because her name being "Anuj", her grammar was that of a monkey and it took her 3 minutes to decipher anything I said like "Thank You". So After 30 minutes of painfully slow questioning she finally starts trying to do something and she gets to my modem and she is trying to put a WEP password on my modem which I didn't need and she is the completely wrong place when she was trying to I have to lead her through the fucking thing like I am the support. And at the end she decides to be an asshole and try to take credit for I had to do for her.

Actual Conversation.

"Anuj- I have set up a password for your modem and changed your Modems name to something recognizable thats easier to find when you are trying to find it. But I advise not to try to tamper with our ways as you were trying to take me to places where you couldn't change it."

Me- Actually you were in the MAC settings far from where you add WEP Security and you thought the DNS domain was the SSID."

"Anuj- Thank you have a nice day."

Conversation Ended.

So I try to connect now I connect and I get slightly farther but still get an error. So I decide to contact Nintendo who already has helped me more than Verizon has by telling me what to do. I email them and in two days ago and today I get an email that tells me exactly what to do and the guy that responded has had experiences with my modem and Verizon. And unlike Verizon who has had not had "Expertise" in the subject.

So I decide to go to Verizon Livechat again in hopes of getting someone like my first time. And instead I get someone like Anuj named Rahul. Same process as before except this time he goes. " Sorry but we do not have expertise at this subject but Verizon Premium Support does, They will come to your house for a low price otherwise here is their phone # 1-800-567-6789.

I plan to call them to tell me what to do rather than them coming. Otherwise anyone know how to get up a PPPoE connection and a always connected DSL account from a PPP connection?

Because most countries like India have no such thing as a minimum wage or least alot less than the US and Britain get.

And so they come to the U.S. and England and become job stealers. Indian job stealers in the UK, illegal Mexican job stealers in the U.S.
