Smacktalks Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 If you download a file, game, etc. as multiple or even a single Rar file and get an error message to say the file is corrupt, check to see if there's any .par files with your download. If there is, ownload "Quickpar", install it and double click one of the .par files. This will then check to see if the rar's can be recovered and will rebuild them for you when you click the "Auto Repair" checkbox. Quickpar: http://www.quickpar.org.uk/Download.htm This also works if some of the .rar files are missing when your downloading multiple .rar's to extract. -- I thought it was worth posting this after sunny's post about corrupt .rar files, I use it all the time if some of the .rars are missing or are corrupt.
