so what guys do you think of "he pretender" by foo fighters? i donwloaded it after i heard it on in the background on the radio, it took a few listens, but i fucking love it now. had a feeling i'd not like it for some reason, really looking forward to the new album next month now. that said, theres a guitary bit in it in the second half that sounds very status quo which is weird.

on a side note, the re-release of the color and the shape for its 10th anniversary sucks, think the "new" tracks ruin an excellent album, but again, mayb if i give them a few more listens they will grow on me.

I'm not much of a Foo Fighters fan but when I heard "The Best Of You" I loved that song.I still do by the way.

give it a few listens. you seem to like your heavier music so i'd say alot of foo fighters songs wouldnt appeal to you, but have you ever heard monkey wrench? its a fairly heavy one, and a cracking tune.

No, but you're right I listen to slightly heavier music then that but not only that.I may like Caliban, Metallica,..... Metal is general but a Foo Fighters song is great too.I like almost everything which is good and has guitars in it.

check out monkey wrench then, you're bound to like it. im into my softer rock, blue rock and a bit of metal, love accoustic music for chilling to tho, which is what makes the last foo fighters studio album so good, one disc was accoustic, the other disc was heavier.

Downloaded the new Foos Album, it feels like a grower, but its definately got potential, liking the pretender the most so far, but its already had a chance to grow on me, definately buying this album when its out.

I got 4 tickets for the gig thier playing at the Metro Arena here in Newcastle, It sold out in around 6 mins. I'm gonna stick 2 on ebay as their selling for double the price, can't wait for the gig!

Listened to Monkey Wrench & The Pretender and putted them on my iPod and turns out I like both of them a lot.The clip of The Pretender is also very, very cool.

Everything after Colour and Shape is shit apart from the first half of Nothing Left to Lose. Colour and the Shape is the only Foo's album you'll ever need. Everlong forever.
