SVR 08 UPDATE FOR E3

US, July 3, 2007 - It's been awhile since we heard any news on the SmackDown front, but the folks at THQ let a few cats out of the bag today when it revealed two more Superstars for WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008. The good news? Neither wrestler was in last year's game.

The first confirmed grappler is North Carolina's high flyer, Jeff Hardy. An incredibly popular former champion, Jeff was one of the most requested guys not to make it into the lineup last year (he was, after all, signed to a WWE contract only months before SVR '07 came out). This year, it won't be a problem.

Superstar number two is RAW's beer-drinking badass, Sandman. Known for his addiction to bashing his own brains in with tipple cans, Sandman is one of Philly's toughest guys and among the most revered ECW wrestlers of all time.

Hardy and Sandman join previously-announced superstars Undertaker, Bobby Lashley, Kane, Triple H, John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Chris Masters, and Randy Orton to bring the roster count to 10. Also of note is that, contrary to other reports, no other wrestlers have been officially confirmed. All three commentary teams, however, will make appearances.

U can find it on ps3.ign.com, xbox360.ign.com ps2.ign.com, etc. It's all on ign.com. Also, try sdgames.com for updated screenshots, and info.

I wanna see how henry will look this year and mvp's entrance and jeffs dance in the beggining because rget cut it off in shut your mouth it would be great to see big evil though really great

Dude, Big Daddy V just made an appearance. I doubt his presence in the game. The deadline date was the week after Wrestlemania 23. Did anyone get word on RVD's attendance in the game. If he's not in, the game will be bullshit!!!
