manDude Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 This TV show needs a whole topic devoted to it. So let be known that this is the Scrubs topic. Let me just say this show is one of my favorites and I don't want it to get canceled for a VERY long time. Quote
samountain Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 (edited) Season 6 was just okay, but 1 to 5 were the best thing on tv. I couldn't even laugh at the simpsons afterwards because scrubs was so good in comparison, or maybe because I know every Simpsons gag coming up... Anyway, yeah next season is the last and it's only 16 episodes. I hope they're all good. Edited July 5, 2007 by samountain Quote

jitz Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 There's very few shows that I could just sit at home all weekend and put in DVD after DVD and then realise I had to go back to work in 5 hours, but Scrubs is one of those shows. I watched so much Scrubs that Nicole has become 'scrubbed out' and can't handle anymore Scrubs, she has seen enough Scrubs for two lifetimes. Like almost all TV shows these days, it's best viewed on DVD, so you can pull it out and down 5 episodes in a sitting when you're in the right mood. Even the so called 'bad' episodes are just episodes with a different vibe, it's just the fine line Scrubs walks between drama and comedy, you won't please everyone. It does look like it's nearing the end of it's life though. Storylines are being repeated but with different characters, jokes are being recycled, and the the cast is simply beginning to ask for too much money. The show is really lucky to have lasted this long, it should be lying next to Arrested Development in the TV bin (I mean that in a positive way, Arrested Development was the greatest TV show ever), but thankfully it bucked the trend. I suppose Americans found half an hour a day to change the channel from one of the two hundred cop dramas on offer. In conclusion, I have a Scrubs poster on my wall, it's awesome (the show and the poster). Quote
