Phil Baroni, who lost to Frank Shamrock via choke in the second round of their bout on June 22, failed a pre-fight drug test; testing positive for Boldenone (Equipoise) and Stanozolol (Winstrol V). He will be fined $2,500 and is suspended for one year by the California State Athletic Commission. Baroni, as reported by Dave Meltzer went into the fight with what may or may not have been a serious injury. A

serious injury, though, did occur very early in the fight when Baroni tore his groin muscle off the bone. Frank Shamrock passed his pre-fight drug test, which was for not only performance enhancing drugs but street drugs as well.

Not a surprise at all. Hammerhouse is better known as Roidhouse. All the fighters in that camp use steroids.
