Did anyone here actually get an iPhone. I'm waiting until it gets better, because I find buying a 1st generation iPhone to be kinda dangerous. Plus it's $600.

Geeks have lost the plot, seriously. I can fathom lining up for a games console, I even picture geeks camping out infront of their local computer store waiting for the latest video card with high def dimple pixel upside shading to come out. I can't understand lining up for a mobile phone.

It's a phone, almost everyone has one. The iPhone doesn't even do anything existing phones can't already do. On top of that, it's only 2G. What good is a phone to geeks that is only 2G? You can't blaze the mobile webs and nets on an EDGE network (especially outside America where EDGE is virtually unsupported due to the relatively low amount of phones that support it).

Only a fool would buy this iPhone, especially as Mr Steve Jobs himself has said that a bigger, better, more bad ass version of the phone is only a short wait away and it'll be 3G...like every other phone released in the past 2 years. Only a fool.

uk networks supposrt edge and theres a decent few phones with edge at that. edge gives off a decent speed for mobile internet imo, but even if the iphone had 3g or HSDPA it would still be shit.

the prada sucks balls, the HTC touch is probably my favorite of the three tough screen touch phones because of its size, but even it is shit once the novelty of having a touch screen that you can accurately use your finger on instead of a stylus.

give me a sony ericsson and my creative zen any day.
