No Longer Admin.

Let me vent a little frustration with you for a moment. A couple of you knew about this before hand. Most of you had no idea I was going to do this. So here's what I did. And this is why I did it. I de-adminned myself. I no longer want to be admin. Why? Because I'm not an admin. I'm a Global Moderator with slight perks. Don't ask Supa, Paul, or Matt if I'm still admin. They'll say yes. Why will they say yes? Because they don't visit the board nearly as much as they should. And unlike them (mainly Supa and Matt), atleast I know how to realize when I'm doing a shit job.

Supa doesn't come here often. But when he does, he has no idea what the fuck is going on. Nor does he care. This board could die, and I promise you his life would go on the same every single day. Hell, what am I talking about? This board has died a bit lately. It's still active with loyal members. And new members show up every now and then. But more needs to be done. Paul, "crunk", and Matt refuse to take that next fucking step. Myself? I'm ready to move on and get this website (notice the word website) up and running. But to do this, I need FTP access. What do I get? Nothing. I get a bogus admin spot that doesn't mean shit.

I've demanded FTP access countless times. I can't tell you how many times I've stated it inside the admin chat. I've done everything necessary to get it across to each of the admins. What happens? Supa makes a shit topic. Matt tells me how to login to the FTP (yet he doesn't realize that I do not have the access.) And Paul remains the man of mystery. And is not to be seen anywhere.

Supa, do me a favor. Be the bigger man. Give this site the attention it deserves (since you have FTP access.) Because you are doing nothing. Literally. Nothing

Matt. Tell me what you've done recently? It's time for you to step up as well. Do you care about this website? If you answer yes, I'll know you're lying. And if you truely mean that you care about this site, then be the bigger man and realize something needs to change quick.

Paul. Give me FTP access. I'll change this place around as quick as I possibly can. Give Aero access. He'll be by my side as we try to save this sinking ship. If you do not want to give me FTP access, then that's even better. Because I'd rather be a regular member with no powers, whatsoever. Than be an admin that can't do a damn thing to this place.

mots, we need people to run this place properly in the absence of everyone else you gave proper admin privs to. that includes ftp axx and account information at the fucking help forums. if you're gonna make people admins of this place, do it right. we cant have admins with half-assed powers here all the time, and admins with regular powers who are rarely (is ever) here.

its bad enough the guy who owns the place is never here, at least leave it in good hands.

I'm not even shitting you. I have no fucking idea about anything technical, and that's the way its always been.

I was put as an admin because I had some pretty good ideas and whatnot about stuff to do for the board, mainly regarding the wrestling games etc. I used to be enthusiastic about trying to improve stuff just like you are now, but I mean there's only so many times you can get told no or bad idea.

When it comes down to it, it is what it is - a wrestling forum. I guess I've outgrown it all. I guess when paul and I admined you and aero it was almost to replace us. But whatever. Like you said, I'm not going to lose any sleep over this.

I'm just reading through all of this and its like I'm nearly laughing... I mean honestly, to me it's just a wrestling forum...to ming, hb etc it must mean more then that because you all seem to be getting pretty fired up about it.

I'm no admin, I've always said that... global mod would be more my title, but since we don't have that then that's why I'm admin. Since I adminned aero and hb tho, they started doing the little that I did, leaving me to do fuck all like hb said.

So here's my proposition - I'll swap myself and HB's current positions over. With no worries at all. Thoughts?

Bottom line is, this place could be run better, so much better. It has the potential to be alot better, but it's not.

Personally I think you should all deadmin yourselves so that Paul can sort this all out properly, and that this place is run so much better.

I (not being a mod or anything important on this forum) think this COULD be run much better because when I just joined here I felt this was a fucking nice forum where you can post what you like.For example,the different forum types on this site:now only General Chat is popular,when I first joined all of the types where very popular with daily posts.The SvR 2007 forum:dead,there is no fucking post in there for weeks,except for a little thing here and a little thing there but not like the old days when there was a regular post in every forum.You guys are right,change this.Point well proven HB.

thats exactly why HB should be re-admined with FTP access. he cares a lot mroe about the site, so theory would say HB would do more for the site, hes here online often enough to over see everything that goes on.

FTP stands for file transfer protocol, its a way of remotely logging into the server of the site and adding/removing files.

with you not knowing what you have access to, or what FTP actually is, it only seems right to hand over any FTP access to HB or anyone trustworthy of the site with the loyality that HB displays.

You don't understand my dear friend who is only a couple of years younger than me. I meant if they all deadminned themselves it would force Paul to do something. Plus they wouldn't retake the admin spots unless it was done properly.

They probably won't do that though, as ego will get in the way.
