The best thing is when he dials his voicemail, it asks him to select the keys on the screen to delete messages, etc. yet there is none on the screen, meaning he has to listen to all his old messages before the new one. That being said, it was one of the fake iphones from ebay. Quote
Aero Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 i played with one bout 3 weeks ago, seems excellent to me, the odd wee bit of slowdown tho? may have been the demo software tho. so far i'm well impressed, resisted getting one on day of release incase it was glitchy likethe n95 (heap of wank it is) think i'll go for it myself by end of november..... if i get this new job i'm after, i'll probably get one before i leave the shop. can't really see the appeal in the iphone, pda's suck unless you intend to make good use of them rather than just show off your fancy phone (esp ones without keypads) and i have a good mp3 player as it is. i can also load an ass load of music on my sony ericsson, should i ever decide to leave mp3 player at home, or if its battery is dead. That being said, it was one of the fake iphones from ebay. yeah with an iphone you dont have to use the pen, thats just because its a fake but by fake it really means different firmware, the phone hardware is nigh on identical to apples, its the same labourers I think. Aero Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 well, i worked for the link and it seemed fun, theres great potential for making commission especially on the run up to christmas, but since switching to orange its soooo much better to work for a network, the likes of CPW, the link (rip) and 4U's deals are always a bit shady, cheque back deals etc, so expect the odd rant from a customer. advice tho- 1. flirt like mad, even with old women, it'll get you sales. 2. try not to lie, honesty is appreciated with customers 3. if you have the phone a customer is looking at or know someone working who has it, whip it out, shows that you do actually like it etc. (with orange we don't use landlines for new connections etc, as such we use current line phones which then double as our demo phones, definately gets you sales) Quote
