The Don Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 So I'm trying to add music to my iPod and I'll click Sync iPod then when it's done check if my new music was added and it wasn't. Any one know what I'm doing wrong besides owning an iPod and using iTunes... Quote
scoot Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 i have limited knowlege with these things other than the fact that ive spent more on them in the last 6/7 months than i have on takeaway food. as such, i cant see why the music isnt on the ipod, perhaps a fucked hard drive?? put it in an air tight bag and into the fridge and see what happens when connecting the ipod after around 20 mins in the fridge. or just smack the thing maby. but whatever you do, DONT open the fucking thing, i made that mistake and it cost me. do yourself a favour and google your problem Quote
Aero Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 there are ways of formatting the ipod etc look for those. Quote
The Don Posted June 5, 2007 Author Posted June 5, 2007 Yeah see I was thinking about formatting my iPod but all of my music is on my iPod (besides 2 CDs and a handful of tracks) and am trying to put it off untill I get the discs I need to recover my computer. I was screweing around in iTunes this morning and it said something about my iPod not being connected to this iTunes or something. EDIT: Just to elaborate, I can't even listen to musci from my iPod on this computer. Is there a way I can authorize my iPod or something? Quote
Nemo Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 ... Is there a way I can authorize my iPod or something? yes. Quote
The Don Posted June 5, 2007 Author Posted June 5, 2007 Hmmmm... you have peaked my interest! Please, elaborate. Quote
Nemo Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 i would, but it'd be as pointless as asking you for help. Quote
Fozy Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 For being such a computer genius, you know absolutely nothing. Quote
scoot Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 where do i claim to be a computer genius? im not a fucking genius, i work as a technician, aCOMPUTER technician, not some gut who fix's ipods to work on reformatted computers. as far as i know the only way to do it is to format. if theres another way that i dont now of then good, thats all fine. problem is im not a computer genuis, i just earn money by fixing them. which btw, you dont need that much knowlege to know how to do. thats one reason why the pay is terrible right now. Quote
Nemo Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 i wouldnt want someone who's partly good with comps fixing mine. its like getting a veterinarian to do brain surgery on a human. which is why don is still stupid. Quote
scoot Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 then its a good job customers dont ask to see quallifications. Quote

Nemo Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 my ipod came with musicmatch jukebox. but that sucked so i got the ipod plugin for winamp. dont even need the plugin anymore since winamp supports portable devices now. Quote
bigpoppn Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Actually Aero, you don't because you can download songs from iTunes but you also can download songs form a dwonloading program and put them on your desktop and then put in your iPod witht he USB cable and where it sayus music you list show (list of numbers on your iPod)and then you select the numbers you want on your iPod and drag then to that list. bigpoppn Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I bought one let's say a month ago and I just used Limewire and the whole drag thing and it worked out just fine. Quote
