Secondly I am really suprised by the amount of hip-hop on the soundtrack, now how many of the songs are in the movie we'll have to find out. So yeah... discuss. Quote
jitz Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 A collection of pop songs that have nothing to do with the actual movie, who thought up the idea behind these 'soundtracks'? Who buys them? Quote
scoot Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 put a new GnR song on it, or a new nirvana song, and watch the hords of fanboys (me included) buying the CD, im guessing the same sort of thing applies to some of this music.....that i know nothing about Quote
Aero Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 fair point their scoot, put a new aerosmith track on it and i'd have it preordered, even if the rest was shit... which IMO it is. Quote
scoot Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 see thats just it, all they have to do is licence one nirvana song (plenty of die hard fans craving for more music), one GnR song (with everyone waiting for chinese democracy a new song would be very well welcomed and all the fans would buy the sound track), and make the rest up of talent that has a hardcore fanbase and hasnt seen much in the way of new material for a few years. put all that on a sound track, you got yourself a #1 hit . that way even if the film flops entirely, at least you can fal back on the sound track Quote
Aero Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 lmao quite an idea there scoot, i like it. they'll never do it tho, would probably involve too much money for a soundtrack. Quote
Nemo Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 filmwad posted that tracklist a couple days ago and it was submitted to digg. This is definitely fake. Filmwad cites a random, definitely unofficial blog post on community.tvguide.com as its source, and the blog post cites nothing at all. Plus Green Day is in the movie and recorded a version of the theme song, so there's no way they wouldn't be on the soundtrack. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/conten...4f3f3dce9e59d2a sal agrees. it doesnt matter where you got the list from - it isnt official and more than likely, its fake. Trips Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 If 3 of those songs are in the actual film, I will donate Quote
