25 seconds knocked off the end of the game, where as there should have been a good 10 seconds added on due to a milan substitution. 35 seconds is half a minuite. and with where the ball was positioned on the field that would have been plenty of time to score a second goal and mount a comeback.

the ref seemed biased all game tbh, plenty of fouls were not given.

im left with a sour taste in my mouth, liverpool owned most of the game, milan got lucky.

having said all this, its not half as bad as that fucking ref that didnt give the goal headed in by england a few years back. that fucking screwed the team out of the tournament.... i wonder how many death threats that cunt got.

ahh well, another english team screwed out of another game.

i'd say the match was cut short 30-60 seconds, but lets face it, it was unlikely to make a big difference.

i blame alonso, the free kick he gave away which led to the 1st goal, lucky as it may have been to get the deflection, it was still a goal, a goal from a set piece, a set piece given away stupidly by alonso.

the ref's decisions didnt really help in general, we played better, kept kaka out of the game, but we only score one late goal, gerrard wasnt at his best, pennant played so well down the wing but fucked up about every cross etc he made when he got into possition and as a liverpool fan, i just have to accept defeat.

im not so much annoyed about loosing as the fact that we now have

30-60 seconds is time enough for anything. it would have been very unlikley, but with the rapid shots on goal, with 30-60 seconds one of them might have gone in. rather gutted

i'm suprizingly not gutted, a bit pissed yes, but not gutted, which is weird, i think i resigned myself to us loosing before the match kicked off, dunno why.

on the plus side, gonzales is off, he was shit so im glad to see him go.

if we can bring in some propper fire power this season, someone with a bit of flair, i'm sure we'll be in the final again next year, and hopefully putting up a better league challenge.
