Opinions Needed.

Okay. I've been wanting this board to be more than about wrestling lately. I'd love to keep our wrestling banner as the default banner for anyone who wants to join. Or who enjoys that skin a lot. But I also want a couple of new banners for any skin they desire. I have come up with a few thoughts.

Movies - We could easily have some of ST's favorite interests in this banner. Spiderman for instance could be in the banner. We're all huge fans of the franchise, and I'm sure we could agree on others to be included.

Music - Have certain artists on a banner(s) for different members. Personalizing ST would be great for music lovers. I don't want everyone to have their favorite band, because that would be impossible. I just want a few artists that everyone can agree on to be on a banner or two.

Like I said, I'm open for suggestions. I think we should keep the wrestling banner. For one, it looks great. For two, people still love wrestling and come here to discuss it. But why can't we add to that? We have a very nice looking skin with Grey Night. We also have a skin called Graphite that is in desperate need of a banner. I'm also going to be adding more colorful skins (not just grey) to ST as soon as Paul gives me FTP access. (Hey Paul, it'd be appreciated if it gets done sometime in the next year. Thx.)

I just want suggestions on everyone's end on what you think of my ideas, and also give me ideas of your own. This is not requesting banners at all. This is an idea for what should be on future banners that we can all agree on.

im liking the music idea, possibly a skin that lists the decades of music with a particular artist of their time to support it.

for instance, jimmi hendrix somewhere on the 1960's/1970's kurt cobain on the 1990's someone like bon jovi on the 1980's maby eminem or someone on the 2000's mark, i dont know, would have to be something to consider, although for an artist everyone can agree on, linkin park would be the favourate i rekon.

good idea. but whos going to make the banners, you? are you gonna make one everytime someone asks for something to be added.

having several banners per skin is silly and a waste of time. 1 skin, 1 banner. fuck anyone who doesnt like it.

Either way, A banner for anyone who requests it? Yeah. Okay. Like Slurms said, who is going to make every single banner? I just want some general ideas we can all agree on. I don't think that's asking too much. If enough people request a new skin/banner, we'll add that as well. But for now, I simply want some ideas so we can get a few new looks on here.

Oh, yeah because I seriously meant like a million requests. We could have a set number, like 10 or something. And over time keep building it up. Anyone can make one. Just have a base template, then we just get psd's and stick them on. It's not hard, c'mon Sal, I thought you were smarter than that.
