aero advice

so im looking at a new phone, and there happens to be an offer on with 3 at the moment which seems ideal for me, now im taking your advice of a sony ericson. im looking at the Z610i, and to me it LOOKS the part, im not going to use it for anything other than phone calls, texting, taking the odd photo and possibly playing a game of scrable on the train with a friend when im bored. just want to know if thats the handset i should go for on a tight budget, or if a better phone is avalible from the following list.

Sony Ericsson K610i

Motorola V3xx

LG U880

LG U300

Motorola V3xr (refurb)

what colour is the z610 in question? if its the black theh yes, its the best out of that bunch, if its blue or pink i will have to imply to everyone that you are gay lol.

motorolla V3xx & V3xr should be avoided at all costs.

as should the 2 LGs, LG have only started making reliable phones since the chocolate, and even then its not the best phone.

havnt had the joy of using the 6288 but its basicly a revamped 6280, the software would need to be alot better and also, if you slid the 6280 open too much, it fell apart... yup!

the k610 isnt bad.

would i be right and guessing you are going for the 3 network with that phone selection? dunno why but that selection just shouts 3 to me.

also what is youe budget and would you be willing to go contract? if so im quite happy to take this msn or something if it suits you?

yep three it is, its moved from being a phone for me to a phone for mother, she actually saw the black one, and liked it, she then saw the pink one and liked it more, and suddenly ordered the bastard. i rekon im going to check hers out when it gets here (wednesday) and if i like it, ill go ahead with the same thing myself, its actually an 18 month contract, but once the contract is up, three are promising to continue with the same deal on the same phone (ideal for someone like me or my mom who rarely change phones, shes actually moving from a nokia 3410). otherwise advice on a new contract phone would be very well appreciated

its definately a good phone, the blue one looks cheap and nasty, pink is, well pink, i like the black one.

they dont have a single english call center either and, im not racist (really) but its like they train them all to not understand the difference between the numbers 2 & 3 which makes it harder to deal with them too.

but if you can avoid having to contact them you're sorted.

also, with sony ericssons you can usually hook them up to the pc and update the firmware, so if there's any glitches you can sort that yourself, provided 3 havn't removed that with thier own software.
