Went to see the premier of this last night not knowing what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Very pleasantly.

In all honesty, it's one of the most tense, shocking, gripping and beautiful films I've ever seen. I was apprehensive at the fact Danny Boyle didn't direct it, and the inclusion of the Military, but they're brilliantly implemented, and the new director - Hand picked by Boyle based on a short he made as an application - does an amazing job.

There are some truly disturbing moments, and not just before of the graphic violence, but moments where it's just unsettling to see what's going on, but you never get the impression that it's all for shock value, and it's very tastefully done.

I'm gonna stop going on now, and end with the conclusion that I've got a boner for 28 Weeks Later. Go and see it.

I'm seeing it on Sunday, I loved 28 Days Later and approach this which much skepticism.

New director, lack of Godspeed! You Black Emperor's East Hastings.

Oh and the Sunday viewing has been postponed to sometime during the week due to waking up extremely seedy this morning.

The new director was picked by Danny Boyle, who also directed some of the scenes, and East Hastings makes a welcome return.

EAST HASTINGS IS BACK!?!? And no matter who picks the director, there's reason to be cautious.
