So last month I picked up a Nokia XpressMusic 3500 and I've kinda been regretting it since. I love the phone but it had a tendancy to freeze up and not want to charge. Is it just my phone or do all Nokias in general suck dick??

working in a phone shop i can confess that all nokias do, to some point suck.

all phones will have some minor glitch... altho my last 2 phones, both sony ericssons are yet to glitch to the best of my knowledge. with that said, nokia's evidently used to be the most reliable, as such, it seems that about 80% of those who stick with nokia seem to just assume that from time to time their phone will just freeze or reboot (don't even get me started on their "smart phones") but as such, i'd now say sony ericssons are most reliable, closely followed by samsung. motorollas are just plain shit.

hope my rant helped you realise your phone is just shit lol, take it back and get it replaced/repaired/exchanged or whatever depending on how long you got it and the shop you got its froms' policy.

yeah. i got a nokia on my contract at first, used it for a month of constant freezing and not wanting to charge and then changed it for a sony ericsson, not had a single problem with it.

I have a Samsung z400 and have had nothing but problems with it. Hardly any signal most of the time as well. I was thinking of getting a Nokia simply because I never had a more reliable phone than the 3410 I had, but this is making me think otherwise.

What phone do you suggest Aero, for when I get an upgrade?

See, my phone is T-Mobile To Go (problem number one) so I can't swap it out for a new phone (problem number two.)

Any ideas on how to remedy the situation??

whilst were on the subject of phones, i just got a free blackberry pearl from work, which i think is quite good, only had it for a few days mind, so im still getting used to the qwerty keyboard as opposed to the normal txtin keypad...

well, the trend seems to be nokia n73's (i think) at the moment, but with the jist of this thread, stay away from that, the SE K810i seems really good, havent had any problems with my k800i, also, the w810i is good aswell

honestly, i'd say a sony ericsson, altho the w880i is a bit gay, the keys are too small, i personally prefer the w850i, but the k800i is a cracking phone too, hold off a while for the k810i

additional fact: most repairs we ever get in are for the v3 and the v3i, motorollas are gay! they seem to want to be the front runners in all technology and as a result, release dodgy versions of this technology before anyone else and, rather than fix it for the next phone, they work on more dodgy technology.

n73s are good but, being nokia smart phones, they will glitch time and again, reboot etc. have also noticed that the new black editions seem to overheat at the min for no reason at all, we sent all ours back after a member of staff got one.

i'm a huge sony ericsson mark, most people who work in phone shops seem to fall in favor of SE, speaks for itself really.

much like ASUS are currently doing with their motherboards. might have to be SE next, or maby ill just downgrade and get that panasonic VS6 i once had...decisions decisions........

i had an panasonic x70 and, apart from the battery life, i thought it was fairly decent, but yes, the gd67 is as bad as the moto v3.... actually worse, atleast the v3 could claim to have some style factor.
