Thom Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 (edited) What's hot and poppin' people? I know what you're thinking, "WTF Thom, you legend, it's only 8:21; what could possibly have happened to warrant a topic so early?!" and to some extent I agree, but to a much larger, and relevant extent; shut the fuck up, I'll do what I like. Woke up this morning, and it was a relevantly uneventful awakening in comparison to other days this week; on Wednesday I was awoken by somebody asking if I wanted to go to Alton Towers with them that day (I did go, and I went on everything, the people who work there said they'd never seen anything like it and asked for my autograph but I said I do it for the rush, not for the fame, that's what Myspace is for) and yesterday I was woken up by the same friend telling me I'd left my phone in their car, which pleased me. This morning, I just woke up to find three missed calls from my friend which he probably made when he'd had a skinful. Went down for breakfast; Weetabix; three thereof. Keeps me regular as clockwork. Came to work as it's double-pay so I'll be getting Edited April 6, 2007 by Thom Quote

Big Bizang Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 You get points for the Shaun of the Dead reference and I'm looking for the Scratch Perverts stuff now. Have you heard the new Dizzee Rascal track? Quote
Thom Posted April 6, 2007 Author Posted April 6, 2007 (edited) The one with Arctic Monkeys? Either way, no. Where did you hear it? Scratch Perverts don't have their own stuff, they release mixtape albums with the odd few tracks they've made themself. It's worth looking out for Fabriclive 22, Watch the Ride, and the aforementioned Badmeaningood. They're all on Amazon if you wanna check their tracklisting first. EDIT: I don't know what you use to download albums, but if you have access to rare recordings then also look for the Scratch Perverts Fabriclive Big Issue Mix, I remember you saying Dizzee turned you on to UK Hip Hop, and this features some of the finest examples of it, without pandering to the dumbass Grime trend. Big Bizang Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Shit it's with Arctic Monkey? It's gone down a bit in my estimation now. It's Sirens I heard it on Zane Lowe's show on one of the 3 occassions I've been caught listening to Radio 1. Quote
Thom Posted April 6, 2007 Author Posted April 6, 2007 Ahh Sirens is on his own, he has done one with Arctics though, which also gets played on Zane's show. Quote

scoot Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I know exactly what lines to use on girls to make them melt into my arms; two linees of ketamine. I highy recommend this to Bigpoppn and Scoot if they have any future lady troubles. If it doesn't knock them out long enough for you to have your way, it'll definitely kill them and the problem will be out of your hands. im fine thanks, i need no ket, i found a pub in which there are girls, my age, with my kinda personallity, who are good looking, and who do like me. main case in point lucy Quote
