Heart Breaker Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 "To me it seems like this is a natural point for the team to break up because we have a lot of story conclusions that were going along for the main characters for the first two movies and we kind of tie almost everything up for the third movie," he says. "It feels like a trilogy to me and it feels like the end." http://www.superherohype.com/news/topnews.php?id=5290 Looks like we won't see Spiderman, or atleast Tobey Maguire, after the third film. Such a shame because I could see the Spiderman films lasting for quite a long time. Quote
Jonny Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 (edited) That sucks. Edited March 8, 2007 by Jonny Quote
Nemo Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 the spiderman films have lots of potential seeing as spiderman has an abundance of decent villains, along with crossovers that include a fuckton of the marvel roster. the series shouldnt end if either maguire or dunst quit. if there can be a different bruce wayne in nearly every batman movie, peter parker can be changed if necessary. fuck tobey maguire. Big Bizang Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Good. I was never crazy about the casting for Peter and I get so sick of that fucking top lip of his sticking out half way across the set. Peter isn't supposed to be a pussy even at that age. He played him so meek it was annoying. Fuck Tobey Maguire. Quote
Aero Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 i thought he was alright in the 1st, started to piss me off for the 2nd tho Quote
ALL STAR Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 It will be like what happened to batman the first two were quality with michael keaton then after that they got shit Quote

Big Bizang Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 It will be like what happened to batman the first two were quality with michael keaton then after that they got shit FAIL! Batman Begins is the best Batman film by miles. Quote
Jhardy_jr Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 but you have to admit they did seriously go down the shitter...i mean...george clooney as batman ?....with nipples ?, come on....that was weak Quote
ALL STAR Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 The new batman film is in a different series, also the first batman film was the best Batman plus tim burton = fucking awersome Quote
Jhardy_jr Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 i still prefer batman begins...but seriously.... ...not cool Quote
ALL STAR Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Batman forever and batman and robin are just shit plus bat suit with nipples is just fucking wrong Quote
Nemo Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 adam west was the best batman. also, the made for tv movie was the best. it had 4 villains, a fake shark and enough colorful onomatopoeia screens to give someone a seizure. if that isnt the formula for a kickass movie, i dont know what is. Quote
ALL STAR Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Anyone got a gif of the shark it must be shown Quote
Big Bizang Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 No one is saying Batman Forever and Batman and Robin weren't total arse, they were abominations, but saying Batman Begins is in a 'different series' is idiotic. It's a prequel. And the best prequel in history at that. Tim Burton may still have been considered cool at the time of making the first two films but he did make it quite camp, especially in the second one. For films that claimed to be dark, that was a silly idea. Also he totally shat all over the origin story by making the Joker the murderer of his parents. I can see why, in this respect you can think that Batman Begins should be considered a 'different series' but I consider it's origin story to be putting right something ridiculous and dumb that Burton did. Burton is not infallible. EDIT: Sal, sig that gif immediately! Quote
Nemo Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 i cant use the gif due to that bet i lost with hb. also, the only reason they went so far into bruce's past is because they're shit out of villains. even if they use ra'as al ghoul or whatever the fuck his name is, they're done. and worst of all, harley quinn wasnt in one fucking movie. i hated batmin begins. and i still hate it. Quote
Chillalex Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 i didnt even know it was a mistake, it just tickled me. ra'as al ghoul Quote
Big Bizang Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Batman Begins is one of my all time favourite films. No other film has managed to capture the essence of a comic so well. Quote
