mrpoopers750 Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I downloaded a few movies (Jackass 2, Tenacious D, and Talladega Nights), and by the time I get to the middle or even 30 min into the movie, the words don't match up with the person talking at all. I asked about it in the place where I got the movies, and no one else had the same problem. I was wondering could it be the program im using, which is Bittorrent, or could it be my converter, which is videora? So far all three of them have had the same problem sound wise. Can anyone help? mrpoopers750 Posted March 2, 2007 Author Posted March 2, 2007 I convert them so I can put them on my psp then plug psp into ps3 to watch them on my tv. Quote
Aero Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 search for "pocketDivX encoder"... think thats the name, it has a function to realign the speach etc, also, the upgrade to it, lathe has set psp settings if you want to be exact about the whole thing, but i'd recommend the 1st one, its faster. Quote
mrpoopers750 Posted March 2, 2007 Author Posted March 2, 2007 (edited) Umm okay, I downloaded it. But how the hell do you use it lol. Do you just put the video in and encode? I see the video/audio sync button, but you have to encode first. So do I have to change anything or just encode normal and then do it. Sry about questions I'm a total noob when it comes to this stuff. Also I'm just going to have to convert again, cause when you done with the program its in an avi format when I need mp4. Also try to find better torrents. Perhaps it is the torrent itself. Quote
Aero Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 try just doing the video/audio sync... cant remember the best option to get it into mp4 format Quote

No I asked other ppl in the page for the torrents and everyone says this is the best guy. Axxo or something like that. THey said sound and video were perfect and there were so idk... I'll try just to do audio/video sync. Edit: Yeah it won't let you just do audio/video sync. You have to encode first, because you have to use an encoded video to sync the audio and video. Aero Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 thats wank, its been so long since i used it, converted all my south park, stuck it on my zen, havnt touched it in a year. will play around with it at the weekend and see if i can work out good psp settings for you. it is a fast converter tho and you rarely need the audio/video sync, think i've used it once, but it worked that one time. mrpoopers750 Posted March 9, 2007 Author Posted March 9, 2007 (edited) Anything Aero? By the way, idk if i mentioned it, but the words match up fine in the beginning, just not in the middle to end at all...I downloaded a program that you can edit the the timing and stuff but it doesnt work for my movies, cause the timing is perfect in beginning and off in the middle...So if i edit timing in middle the behinning is off... mrpoopers750 Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 Idk, cause my friend downloaded same movie, using all the same stuff I use and his words matched up perfect.. Quote
mrpoopers750 Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 Okay someone told me it may be my codecs? Idk what that is exactly, but is there anyway to get better ones... Quote
Nemo Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 is the original video out of sync or just the re-encoded ones? Quote
mrpoopers750 Posted March 13, 2007 Author Posted March 13, 2007 I ran the original video through Windows movie maker, because it won't run through windows media player for some reason and it was spot on...but I downloaded some codecs so Idk it could have been that... Quote
Nemo Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 if the source video runs fine, then its your converters that are causing the sync problems. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=p...G=Google+Search do some trial and error. Quote
mrpoopers750 Posted March 13, 2007 Author Posted March 13, 2007 (edited) Okay I think I need new Codecs, but I'm not sure...I'm gonna test it out and get back in here...Umm whats a good free dvd burner...I have nero but it only lets me use 3 different formats that ive never herd off (bop vup and ifo)..then i downloaded one off download.com and i wasted three dvds cause it said the speed was too high but it was on lowest speed and idk it was confusing..So whats the best free and easy to use dvd burner..? EDIT: Okay I downloaded a newer version of Videora and it matches up now...But now im looking for a good dvd burner... Edited March 14, 2007 by mrpoopers750 Quote
