Subrick Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 So, last night my dad told me my parents are getting divorced. And as usual you can expect my family to get very upset. Only one problem, I don't know if this is legitimate. My dad is something of a joker and I don't know if the divorce is true, or one very dragged out April Fools joke. God I hope it's the latter. What do I do? Quote

Mr Sparkle Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 well if they do split up then you should run away but first set up webcams around the house then sit back in your hide out in the woods and watch feeling guilty formaking you leave then a week later when there out put a message through the letter box (or the window tied to a brick you decide) and tell them thatyoull only come back if theypromise not to split up. yes it would be fake love bettween them but if you all stay together its worth it .. i think? scoot Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 the only time my mom and dad split was for like quite litterally a day. and im sure the only reason they stayed together was beause of my disabled brother. in any case it was some of the most gut turning pain ive ever endured i seriosuly thought i was saying good bye to my dad for good, and of his own choice. alas they got back together (literlly the next day) and all has been good since. sorry to hear of your mom and dads parting. Jobber Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 My parents have been divorced since I was 12, I live with my dad and my mom lives about 3 hours away, I got used to it after a while and it really doesn't bother me at all. You learn to live with it. Quote
James Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Just hang in there man. I wouldnt think that your dad would joke about something like that, simply because it's not even funny. Quote
