I Got Worms Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 okay... this is alittle tricky to ask and i'm trying to think of the best way i can put it so it'll be more easier to understand ...okay... first i use a gameshark to hack hair for my CAW's okay... i have layer 5 hacked w/hair layer 7 hacked w/hair... layer 8 is already hair, lol... and layers 9 and 10 hack w/hair. now, um... when i put on a Hat i can get a bunch of new hair styles by switching layers 5 and 10 around. i can get different types of long hair using layer 5 and different textures and colors using layer 10. this looks extemely good with a good Jeff Hardy CAW, which i've been using this new thing on... my question... actually it's pretty much a challenge if it's all possible. so if any of experts on here can help, please can someone please, come up with a way to well... i want to remove the Hat but still get the same effect as if the Hat was still on... sounds confusing enough but, eh if you need images to show an example of what i am talking about just let me know and i can kindly provide them i think if this is possible alot of new hair hacks can be created, especially with CAWs that use long hair styles. thanks in advance and if it can't be done, no problem there either i'm not expecting it to be possible. please reply, give feedback, etc. Quote
Fozy Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Sounds like a nifty idea. It seems pretty plausible too, sorry I'm of no help. Quote
I Got Worms Posted January 20, 2007 Author Posted January 20, 2007 nah, it's okay Iain... it's a good idea but nothing that i can expect possible... just something i felt i should ask an expert... idk if anyone else has experience this too. maybe it's a texture glitch when you put a Hat on your CAW or who knows. but it does make a bunch of different hair styles and if possible it'd be very cool to use it without the Hat and still get the same effect ...like perhaps trick the game into thinking the Hat is still there... thanks anyway, Iain. bigpoppn Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 i dont know it but it seems complicated! Quote
I Got Worms Posted January 21, 2007 Author Posted January 21, 2007 do you have a gameshark Bigpoppn? if you do... hack layers 5, 9 and 10 and switch the hair style to something long on layer 5. now put a Hat on your CAW and then switch layer 10 to whatever other hair style and you'll see what i mean... i'll try to take pictures soon to show an example unless someone knows what i'm talking about. DRAVEN Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 I think the only way of doing this would be to turn the hat transparent... Quote
I Got Worms Posted January 21, 2007 Author Posted January 21, 2007 you mean with a transparency code? is there any? i've been trying the display set up codes. Quote
I Got Worms Posted January 23, 2007 Author Posted January 23, 2007 well it's going to be awhile before i figure out a solution to this problem, my PS2 has been giving me major problems so i won't be doing much until i get a new one. unless someone else feels like figuring out a code or something for this problem and post it... let me know if anyone feels up to it. $ickHardy Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 when i do it it looks like of lot of short hair looking no long hair stuff like 2003 stuff Quote
I Got Worms Posted February 4, 2007 Author Posted February 4, 2007 i haven't tried it with the gameshark transparency hack but without it i put a hat on my caw and get all these different types of hair styles and different textures i get different textures by switching the hair styles on layer 10 which i've got hacked with hair but hey... keep trying and good luck. TNK.Owner.FYS Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Ok why dont you move the hat to a green area or go to match display and uncheck the hat from all the Match,Entro,Cut And The Hat Will Still Be There But No One Will c It Which You Will Still Have Those Cool Effects As You Where HAving With The Hat Be Able To See And NOw That I Think Ablout It Just Uncheck The Boxes Because It Might Mess U The Layer Order If You Try To Move To green Area If You Need Any mo Help. Holla Holla Holla Playa!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JaMeZ.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
XIII XHP Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 I remember making a Taz with a Mohawk in '08 using a transparency code. That's your best bet, I say. Draven already said it. I think it will work. Quote
