crunk Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Lately it just seems so damn biased and irrelevant. Today I was watching it and a story about Paris Hilton visiting Australia showed, followed by a story about 24 people killed in a bus crash. Does that seem ridiculas to anyone? News should be informative rather than having to try to be entertaining enough to compete with re-runs of the simpsons. Quote
essjay Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 i agree....the news is shit,as are news papers, front page of the paper.... PARIS HILTON PORN SHOCK..... page 35 of the paper 475 people killed in massacre.... the news is bullshit Quote
RingMaster2001 Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 But you need to look at it differently. 24 Aussies dying or Paris Hilton coming over? The latter is bound to get prior importance. Quote
Can't Be Arsed Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 "Spurs sign irrelevant player!!!! Pages 79, 78, & 77" "West ham board taken over and manager sacked, page 77" Quote
RingMaster2001 Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I wish that was the case Sean. The media seem to have a love-in with West Ham, and when Pardew was sacked and the takeover saga was going on, we were getting back page headlines and 2 fold stories. It annoyed me that we were in the news that much. Quote
Legendeath Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 That's always been the news. When have they said something good or never cared about talentless celebrities. Quote
