king of kings Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 (edited) I know that there are many "hidden moves" for specific superstars. The question I have is about Rey Mysterio's 619 finisher. Is it possible for him to just do the 619 without doing the West Coast Pop at the same time? To simplify, can he just do the 619 and then stop at the ropes like he did in Season Mode when he wanted a World Title Match?(Sorry if that is a spoiler. I don't know how to make the proper tags.) The reason I ask is because they keep on messing up his 619 finisher in the past 2 or 3 games. What if I want to do the dime move after the 619? Or what if it is a match where you can't pin to win? Then the other guy would just get up. Edited December 23, 2006 by king of kings Quote
JohnDoh Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 You could sort-of do this in the previous game - one of his "Mysterio moves" things was the dorp toe-hold to the ropes, but they would bounce up to the groggy-rope position after it. Then you could hit the 619 which was Rey's running dive-out-the-ring move, and the drop-the-dime was Rey's rebound attack. It might well all still be in there. Quote
bigpoppn Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 thats kinda true when i play royal rumble with him and wanna do my finisher it always end up like this : me losing much stamina, opponent is still standing!! Quote
king of kings Posted December 23, 2006 Author Posted December 23, 2006 (edited) That sucks! I had hoped that they would get it right this time. sigh. Well maybe svr2008 will get it right. I noticed how svr2007 took a lot of things from the the DOR series. They could have at least took Rey Mysterio's 619 from there. Edited December 23, 2006 by king of kings Quote
Niles Jansen The Third Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Yeah you can, but it's not a finisher. If you knock your opponent up against the ropes, then run towards them and press square, you will do the 619. Then, when they fall onto the mat, you can do the drop the dime, by running towards the ropes, then you touch the ropes, press square. Quote
jamie20078 Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 I think its allways on the finisher. Quote
