New York police shot and killed an armed teenager after chasing him into a building lobby last night (December 13).

According to the Associated Press, 19 year-old Timur Person was standing with a group of men on Walton Avenue in the Bronx around 8 p.m. when four officers in a marked vehicle approached them. While the others escaped, Person was chased into the lobby, where he tussled with the police before he was shot.

Hector Suarez, who witnessed the shooting, claims that he heard police tell Person to let go of his weapon, and Person responded, "I'm giving you the gun," prior to being shot.

Witnesses reported that at least one officer shot Person at close range.

"He stood over his head and he just looked down at him and he just shot four times, one, two, three, four," Suarez said.

Person, who had a loaded .38-caliber semiautomatic and an extra clip in his possession, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

The only witnesses are only black people. Now not only do black people not like cops (just to stereotypicalise them, it's nothing they're not used to, infact I reckon they embrace it), but they're not exactly a race of people who...don't overexaggerate.

A 'barrage of 50 bullets' means 5 shots go fired, 4 limb shots, when the offender posed threatening action towards a police officer, one to put him to rest.

4 shots at close range means 1 from a distance. Now go back to learning all the lines from the Barbershop series so you can impress all your black friends, that'll not only laugh their arses off hysterically that their heads will blow up possibly 4 times it's normal size (source: eyewitness accounts), they'll also lap up this "news".

When we had the 7/7 bombings, the police here shot a man at close range five times in the head because he ran from plain clothes police at a London train station wearing a backpack.

If he didn't run there wouldn't have been a fucking problem. He ran because he had something to hide. The thing he was hiding in the end was the fact that he was an illegal immigrant from Brazil. Idiot. Shouldn't have been here should he.

Actually it was later admitted that he hadn't ran at all and that the clothing the cited as being baggy and suspicious was not at all. They showed the jacket on TV, there was nothing at all wrong with it. It was just the police being trigger-happy and reactionary.

That might be a bit unfair, at the time, at that minute, he wasn't doing anything wrong. There are procedures to go through to get illegal immigrants sent home or what have you, they do not involve shooting him to pieces on a tube.
