Aero Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 off topic is right, moved to gaming discussion.
Heart Breaker Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I honestly do not know what to think about this game. Part of me thinks it actually could be something interesting. The other part of me believes it could be a complete flop. I guess we'll be able to judge more when the gameplay footage is released.
CS Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 It should be interesting to see how the game is on the Wii.
scoot Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 if it is on the wii that is, also, don moved my topic about the trailer from here to wrestling disscusion, so fuck knows whats going on with where the topic should be placed
bigpoppn Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 just gimme the normal ring WTF A SIX -SIDED RING!!!
Nemo Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 the only problem i have with the 6 sided ring is its effect on the irish-whip system. theres: up up-left left down-left down down-right right up-right how could you send your opponent in the other four directions?
Nemo Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 i thought of that too, just 1 problem though. this: its not the best diagram in the world, but it shows the directions youd have to use to send your opponent anywhere in a 4-sided ring vs a 6-sided one on an analog stick. as you can see, a rotation of maybe 20 or so degrees can send your opponent somewhere else. basically theres 2 down-rights, down-lefts, up-lefts and up-rights. with so little distance between every direction, its too easy to mix them up.
The Don Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I have a feeling it'll be grapple + A to whip them into the ropes and grapple + b to send them into the corner. That would be the easiest way to do it, but it'd also slow down the game too much for a TNA based game.
bigpoppn Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 and what if they dont use the analog stick and if they will , it will be crap because 9 times outta 10 you will send your opponent to a direction you dont want him to go
Niles Jansen The Third Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Why not use the analoge stick for throwing them to the ropes and the diectional buttons for the corners?
essjay Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 i dont know what to expect from this either, saw the video and was like "meh".....but it could work, will be interesting to see if they do tna justice.....
Fozy Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 The video is comparable to the one we got for SVR07. The one with angle and cena?
Fozy Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 No it doesn't. What I meant is that it won't be anything like that video.
bigpoppn Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 yeah the vid of SvR2007 looked nothing like the game itself (sure not the graphics) but i hope TNA can build a wrestling video game series like the SvR series but if this game sucks they don't have to bother to make another one,i really hope this will be a good game because if it comes down to good wrestling games i can only buy SvR.
