Review the Last Movie You Watched

Like the old thread. I liked that thread, found some good movies.

Reviews don't have to be long or anything. Couple of sentences if you want. Plot synopsis would be nice.

The movie wasn't bad but its missing alot of stuff from the book and unless you've read the book it probaly won't make much sense.

i watched it, didnt read the book, it made plenty sense!

The Prestige

Very good film. Nolan and Bale deliver again. Man can Bale do creepy very well. And you never disbelieve his english accent, it's spot on for the era. The same can't be said for David Bowie mind you. He pitches up about half way through the film complete with non-country-specific euro-accent and you never quite get the past the feeling that he's going to break into Space Oddity at any moment.

Despite that though this is a very well made film. Jackman and Bale put on the performance of their careers perhaps and it gets very nasty and twisty/turning. The final twist you kind of see coming and near the end it get's a tad unbelievable but I loved every minute of it.

I also watched the Da Vinci Code. It was alright if you like that kind of mystery solving stuff. But i found it boring. Then again i never read the book so it never made much sense at some parts.

risky business

several things the world doesnt need to see: some teenage girl's massive bush and a young tom cruise dancing around in his undies. the business wasnt very risky either.

0/10 - only because anything lower wouldnt make sense.

miami vice

The film is alright could of been alot better i think its suppose to be an action film but there is hardly any action in it. And the story is average at best. It is filmed well though with some cool camera angles
