actually NORTHERN ireland and scotland, as such it makes them alot more british than irish, but yeah.

Also, do they play all the synths and stuff? I remember there being a lot of synth work in the new album, but I haven't listened to it in a while.

They played Death of Seasons which has the awesome dancey technoey bit in the middle which played...but no one on stage was making the music.

As for background synth work, it's a live concert, that stuff gets drowned out. So I can't say either way, they didn't have anyone extra doing that stuff so i'd say no. It was just the drummer, bassist, guitarist and vocals. Then again, I was going heavy in mosh so I can't say I took too much notice of the area where that kind of guy would be standing.

What do you aussies think of the BDO lineup? Every year I have high hopes and every year I'm dissapointed, and I don't know why I have high hopes in the first place. The chance of me liking bands at BDO are so low.

I wouldn't mind seeing The Killers and Muse though.
