New Years Eve

Right, I see that clubs have started announcing their New Years Eve line-ups, so people are gonna start making plans for it. What's everybody gonna do? I'm going to the Medicine Bar in Birmingham (Joint best club in the country IMO) and seeing Groove Armada, DJ Yoda, Stanton Warriors, Annie Mac and Scratch Perverts. Seems pretty fucking perfect for me. DJ Yoda and Scratch Perverts have been possibly the two best turtablism acts I've seen this year, and Groove Armada and Stanton Warriors would be amazing to see. Not sure on Annie Mac, haven't heard much of her own stuff, but I'm going to see her tomorrow in London so that'll give me an idea of what to expect.

If nobody else has made plans yet then that's cool, I just needed to express my excitement to as many people as I can.

That's a pretty cool line up. I'd go to that if I could be bothered, but I can't. I always find myself into some mishap of an adventure on NYE

You'll probably be better off in Newcastle mate. Boro is fucking rough at the best of times never mind New Year's Eve.

I always have really chilled out New Year's Eves, never doing much just hanging out at someone's house. I think this year my brother's girlfriend will be up and mum has expressed an interest in her and my girlfriend to be at ours this year. Sounds way too wholesome for me.

On the subject of being excited, the Jarvis Cocker gig is tonight and I'm so fucking excited I could shit. I'm going to see one of my heroes in person!
