First off, I didnt make an announcement due to the time at which I admined Aero last night. I thought I'd leave it untill today before doing so.

The reason behind admining Aero was because he has done a good job so far as mod and has been entrusted with multiple forums. He'll help out where he can in topics instead of just having a go at someone and he uses the other forums regularly.

Why was Jitz, HB, etc overlooked?

Jitz was overlooked because personally I didnt think he would be interested in admining this place. Jitz does a fine job as moderator and indeed would make a good admin. But I dont really think Jitz would be interested in helping to maintain the site, adding caws and helping to expand the site. If I am wrong then Jitz, I apologize for not considering you.

As for HB, myself and Supa talked about HB last week and decided we would ask him if he would like to be made admin. Last night I then spoke to Supa and we decided to Admin HB along with Aero. HB wasnt on however so I decided to wait until today to speak to him.

In regards to why new admins are needed, now the new SD! game is out there is typically an increase of visitors to the site and this year I want to turn this place around so it can compete with other sites of the same kind. By bringing in new admins it not only gives 2 extra pairs of hands to help out organising this, but it also brings in fresh ideas on how the board should be run from 2 established members.

I understand you may think that other people may of deserved to be admined but ask yourself. Is Aero a good choice? Do you think he will do a good job? I think he will.

In aero you have an admin that you all get on with and can talk to about any issues you have and he has the power to help resolve those issues.

In regards to the admins previously being chosen being the wrong choices and you now adding Aero to this list, then that's just stupid. Wait and see how good a job he does before you judge him.

As for Don's remodding, yes your right. Don has made some bad decisions in the past, although he has also done more for the wrestling forum than most others. Don has been given a second chance to learn from his mistakes, if he doesnt then he will be demodded and someone else will get thier chance. As with Aero, give Don a chance before you start to berate him again.

Finally, if anyone has any problems with any of this then you can direct your comments/opinions to myself, Supa or Matt via PM.

dons been mod a lot more than twice. there are no more chances once you get to the double digits.

also, this board has hardly any new members, let alone enough for 2 new admins. also, admins have to be more than just established members. people who can design new skins, run a website, or do anything other than change usernames - those are the admins we need. not the winners of a popularity contest.

Hell, if I knew adding CAWs might've been my job I wouldn't of paid everyone $50 to whinge that i wasn't considered.

Hey at the end of the day, it doesn't really bother me that I wasn't even in the corner of your mind as a possibility. I'll just keep doing what I've always done, and that's tell everyone how this board should be run. And you guys can just keep doing what you've always done; straight out ignore me.

I look forward to hassling two more people now. First things, now that there's two of your we can now add the other administrator job to the list and give it to the other guy, I think he's called Heart Banger or something. Anyways, his job is to make the Christmas skin for the board. Once you've done that you can go on holiday for a year.

Aero noone is slagging you off, we are slagging Don off because he has just made the worst reply ever in a topic. I have nothing against you, the appointment just makes no sense. And I don't see why Jitz wasn't made admin. He is who everyone wants, whom everyone respects, has knowledge of running forums, knows everyone here, and has been here for 6 years.

Paul once again fails to see the point. Now with the remodding of Don however, I just think he has lost the plot.
