So what I'm saying is that potentially she could be fine if someone got through to her. With all due respect I would find it incredibly difficult not to be very pissed off at her if I was in your position.

she has alot of bad history, I'm not pissed at her. She's been in hospital because of this before but no where near the way she is now.

She should be able to recieve treatment if she is mental unstable to make her own decisions. Not sure how to go about it though.

the unfortunate matter is it takes too much time for things such as these to be decided, i just hope by the time they decide if she is mentally unfit to recieve the treatment its not to late, there is too much shite about rights these days and a fear of getting sued, but when peoples lives are at risk it should be a case of fuck the rule book.

i feel sorry for the nurses too, they will have to deal with the brunt of this when they are doing all the legally can from what i gather.

i really hope she pulls through, there is nothing harder than watching someone you know and care about slowly die infront of you, i'd imagine there is nothing worse for a parent.

Sorry to hear mate. Tell us how she is after. I must admit, when I hear stuff like this it makes me angry at the person for being so stupid, but I'm sure deep down it's not their fault. Hope she gets better.

She's in England now, getting specialist treatment. She will be there for at least a year.
