9trey Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I don't have a 360 but I'm gettin it just for this game. I can't play the PS2 version knowing theres a better one out there, but how in the hell are we going to Hack this thing? Quote
Heart Breaker Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I'm assuming you can't. I guess the PS2 owners will get a bonus after all. The ability to hack. Quote
Fozy Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Yeah, hacking; It's what makes games today. Quote
9trey Posted October 18, 2006 Author Posted October 18, 2006 Damn.... maybe I'll get it on PS2 after all :2 Quote
Legendeath Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Couldn't you hack a X360 by just hooking it up to a computer and using special tools? Quote
S2D Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 no, theres just no cheat device yet, there is a transfer kit atleast so CAWs and game saves will be possible and hopefully the 360 will get a cheat device Quote
solo Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 all you need is a modded xbox 360, a lot of people remade wrestlemania 21 thanks to modding. modding=the new way to hack. Quote
solo Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Even I modded that game. Go me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hey what mods did you do? Quote
9trey Posted November 9, 2006 Author Posted November 9, 2006 I'm new to 360. The smackdown game made me cross over. So because I'm new to 360 I'm new to the whole mod thing. So how do you mod your 360? This is the next geration of hacking. Quote
Fozy Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I just made attires and like everything texture related. I made a script for the season, kinda. I had it have different matches and cutscenes at different times etc. I made everything in shopzone free. Just basically everything. Quote
S2D Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 what about saves? Would you need a modded 360 to get the hacks people have made? Quote
TheHitmanPK Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 From what I understand the length of the X360 "mod-scene" has only gone as far as playing pirated I mean "Legally Backed-Up" games by flashing the DVD drive with modified firmware. The back-up process is pretty tedious, at least for me. I haven't modded my firmware because of XBOX Live, but I have backed up a few games and I had to actually take apart my PC's dvd drive to do so. As far as hacking the 360 version of SvR '07 for added music, stats, or whatever is probrably far from happening. I doubt you will ever see an Action Replay or Gameshark on a 360 because every game/software that runs on a 360 has to be signed by M$ themselves and I doubt they would put their XBOX Live in jeopardy by allowing a cheat device to be used. The only chance I ever see this happening is if the Mod-scene completely opens up the 360 and get it to run unsigned code. Then you can mod the hell out of your 360 games. There are tools to extract files from X360 disc images, but changing anything in the image breaks the signature and it will not boot on your console, even with modified firmware. Quote
roderick16 Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 make a mod disc & download it 2 ur 360 Quote
XIII XHP Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 This needs to be looked into further... I'm trying to do the same thing. Quote
