Rob Michaels Posted October 30, 2003 Posted October 30, 2003 I found a tool called AFS Explorer, you can get it here: http://dte-ng.issextreme.com/scripts/ps2.php Great program, it lets you listen to every sound file in the game, and I'm very sad to say, there is no hidden music. I listened to every sound and song, it has the ones already in the game, and a heck of a lot of placeholders where hidden songs used to be, but they are just silent placeholders. Terrible news for us, who were hoping to put all those missing songs back in. Again, there are no hidden songs, so save yourself the trouble of trying to hack them, download the program and see for yourself.... Quote
Moose2000 Posted October 30, 2003 Posted October 30, 2003 There is no way they had time to remove Bombshell, Hell last year they didn't remove Shane McMahon fully. I had a feeling Chemical and One Of A Kind wouldn't be in but Bombshell! hmmm. Are u sure its not in a different directory or something Quote
LordRikerQ Posted October 30, 2003 Posted October 30, 2003 Is there a program like this to check out the sounds on the SYM disc? Thanks Quote
Rob Michaels Posted October 30, 2003 Author Posted October 30, 2003 I'm positive it's not in there, I looked through every single file, and there are no hidden songs, the only exception(Kind of)Is it DOES have HHH's SYM theme where the music is cropped to fit his intro, that's it, no Flair, no RVD, no Kane, no Dudleyz. I'm not happy about it either, but it's the sad truth.... Also, about the SYM music, you can listen to those with MF Audio.... Quote
M-Balm Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 :rolleyes how do I use it like do I put the cd in the hard disk drive? Quote
M-Balm Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 cause like I put it in and it came up files but the thing didnt think it was there. Quote
Rob Michaels Posted November 8, 2003 Author Posted November 8, 2003 Put HCTP in you're PC DVD drive, start the program, then choose import .AFS, go to the location of HCTP, then open the BGM folder and go nuts. Each .AFS file has many .ADX files, each .ADX file is one song or sound. BGM000 - BGM004 are all of the songs and music, everything else is assorted sound effects.... Quote
aaron24 Posted November 8, 2003 Posted November 8, 2003 could someone please tell me where I could find the mf audio thing for sym Quote
Rob Michaels Posted November 9, 2003 Author Posted November 9, 2003 I've been feeling helpful lately, so get it here: http://rorr.customer.netspace.net.au/Files.../MFAudiov11.zip But let me remind the sweet ignorant cherries, Google is you're friend, searching is very easy, try it sometime.... Moose2000 Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 sorry Rob, but u are more than likely to be wrong THQ did not have time to remove everything so it is likely they placed the stray music in a library type file. If anyone can play this/hack it it would be worth it. Quote
wolf0287 Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 Is there a way to take music and enter it in to the game. Quote
Weden Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 (edited) i have found ONE piece of hidden music(well i think it is.) listen to BGM108. edit:also,i found a few more. I found another version of M. Hardys(without the PC intro, jsut the song),and Kurt's music with "you suck"s. Edited November 9, 2003 by Weden Quote

Rob Michaels Posted November 10, 2003 Author Posted November 10, 2003 (edited) "sorry Rob, but u are more than likely to be wrong THQ did not have time to remove everything so it is likely they placed the stray music in a library type file. If anyone can play this/hack it it would be worth it." I'm tot trying to start an arguement man, but I know my S***, and I'm 99.9% positive that there is no hidden music. If someone hacks it and proves me wrong, I'll be the first to admit my mistake, but I'm pretty much postive there's nothing there. If you look at the folders on the disc you have: Several ED folders, these are all used for CAW data, a PAC folder, this is used for general game data, a MODULE folder, this is usually a method of copywrite protection, a MOVIE folder, this contains all movie and Titan Tron info, and a BGM folder, this contains all music and crowd reactions for the game, I've listened to every single song and crowd chant in the BGM folder, and there is nothing hidden. Just for the record, people seem to think that it's time consuming to take things out of games, and in some cases it is, like removing a major gameplay feature, but music and movies take no time at all to remove. For instance, I could remove every song in the game and re-burn a DVD-R with no music in the game at all, and I could do this in an afternoon, all with usermade tools. With that said, how long do you think it takes for Yukes to rip a few songs out of the game at the last minute with professional tools? Again, I'm not trying to start a feud with you man, but face it, this year they decided to remove the extra music.... As for the other so called "Hidden Songs", there's a few songs like that hidden, Angle with the chanting, HHH's cut song, Matt's without the connection sounds, a few others even, but nothing actually "NEW".... Moose2000 Posted November 10, 2003 Posted November 10, 2003 Fair enough, I will also be willing to admit I'm wrong. But just for the sake of it I have it on fairly good authority that THQ did not have the time to adjust anything major from Oct onwards. Bombshell was in at that point as well as a lot of other things. These have yet to be found (Jeff Hardy in Particular) and whilst Bombshell may be out it could also have been placed in a library file as the BETA version's of the game have it. Quote
M-Balm Posted November 10, 2003 Posted November 10, 2003 yo Rob thanx and yea ur rite there is no hidden music but oh well. but wait in a video on ign they show evolution come out to ric flairs music and video....they should have kept that cause I want it but oh well. Quote

M-Balm Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 I also found some wierd music thingys go to PBP000.AFS that file has them but they are NOT "ENTRANCE THEMES". I never heard of them in the game but they must be in there somewhere. Quote
