xbox question

my xbox lets me put regular cd's on it but not burning cd's why that

can anyone help me or can anyone tell me how to download songs to my xbox thanks

Why is that? Because the XBox is stupid that way; Micro$oft obviously can't comprehend the idea that a burnt CD might actually be a legit copy - hell, I'd be half-surprised if they even realize there IS such a thing as a "legit copy"! It won't work. Period.

Now, I haven't tried this, but I've heard that it will read a finalized CDRW; you might try that, if you can justify the expense. If you do, tell us how well it works.
