But I'm wondering how they are able to confirm a superstar like Mr. Perfect so early. Legend confirmations are usually the last thing THQ releases. Quote

Vick Posted August 30, 2006 Author Posted August 30, 2006 To the non believers GamingRing has been around for about 3 years, it was previously knows as wwfwrestlinggames.com so in total has been around for a good 5-6 years. The owners of the site are invited to THQs events, they have interviews with the developers (which can be found in the interview section) and the developers have also held accounts on the forums as they have used it in the past as a method of feedback. Im sure it was either Smackdown 2 or 3 but the website was listed in amongst the credits section on the actual game for the help it had done in promotion. GR has provided people with information before the games release for years now, every year THQ sends them out a pre release copy of the game so that we can do previews and send out pictures and videos. Charles has already sent out a picture to show he has got the pre-release and tested the live game cam. I can't see what the point in us releasing information before we had it would be? Quote

And as you can also see, THQ has requested that we remove those posts. The roster released was not confirmed through THQ. In the interest and excitement of getting as much information as possible out to you our fans we jumped the gun on the roster announcement. We do apologize for any inconvience that this may have caused THQ. We do look forward to starting our coverage of the game.
