Promo: Kurt Angle comes out with his WWE Championship that he retained at Wrestlemania against the Undertaker. He talks about how much of an honor it was to face off against a legend like the Undertaker, and how they had the greatest Wrestlemania match in history, which is hard to argue, it was a classic main event. Randy Orton then comes out and says he should've been in the main event of Wrestlemania, not the Undertaker. Orton says if he was in the main event, he would've beat Kurt for the title. Kurt then tells Orton if he doesn't get out of the ring he will show him what would've really happened if Orton was in the main event at Wrestlemania! Orton laughed and slapped Angle in the face. Angle then tackled Orton and they brawl for a while. Angle then gets a hold of Orton and gives him an Angleslam! The fans go nuts as Angle is walking up the ramp taunting Orton with his WWE Championship! commercial... Match: Rene Dupree w/ Kenzo Suzuki vs. Tajiri Ending: Tajiri gives Dupree a rush of kicks to the legs and chest, and throws Dupree in the corner. Tajiri then gives Dupree the Tarantula! The ref counts to four, and Tajiri lets go of Dupree. While the ref is checking to see if Dupree is ok, Kenzo trips Tajiri and Tajiri falls flat on his face! Dupree then does his French dance, picks up Tajiri, and gives him the Dupree Driver! 1...2...3! Winner: Rene Dupree w/ Kenzo Suzuki (match time - 10:14) Both Kenzo and Rene start kicking Tajiri while he is on the ground. Regal comes in to help Tajiri, and Kenzo and Rene run away laughing. Interview: Christian is shown backstage with Josh Matthews. Josh congradulates Christian on his United States Championship win at Wrestlemania in a grueling six man Ladder match featuring him, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Booker T, Eddie Guerrero and Shelton Benjamin, and asks who he thinks deserves a US Title shot. Christian says until someone beats him in a non-title match, nobody will get a shot at his title. He then says the rest of the lockeroom has no talent in or out of the ring compared to him. commercial... Match: Christian vs. Paul London Ending: Christian has controlled most of the match. He has been working on London's abdominal area, giving him suplexes, a stomach breaker, a back breaker, and a rear surfboard stretch. London powers out of the hold, and does a backwrds flip and kicks Christian out of the hold. Christian runs at London but London quicky jumps over him, and as Christian runs back London gives him a huge hurricanrana. London then goes to the top rope and gives Christian a Mule Kick. He goes for the cover, but only gets a two count. London taunts Christian and pumps up the crowd, and tries to lift Christian in a suplex position, but Christian jumps behind London. Christian grabs London's arms, and, Oh! Unprettier! Christian goes for the cover! 1...2...3! Winner: Christian (match time - 12:32) Backstage Segment: Chris Benoit is shown backstage doing pushups, and Chris Jericho approaches him. Jericho asks him if he's ready for his tag match next, and Benoit says he is. Jericho said that he has nothing against Benoit, even though they were against eachother for the US Title last Sunday at Wrestlemania, and Benoit says he knows, that was every man for himself, but tonight, they're on a team. They pound fists and walk together out of the lockeroom. commercial... Match announcment: Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho vs. Booker T & Eddie Guerrero later on tonight on Smackdown. Promo: Carlito's music hits and loud boos fill out the arena as he makes his way to the ring. He says the crowd can boo him all they want, it won't make them any cooler. Carlito says he is up to Christian's challenge for the US Title qualification, and says he'll meet Christian in the ring next week on Smackdown. Muhhammed Hassan's music hits, and he gets even louder boos. Hassan yells at Carlito, saying he deserves a US Title shot more than Carlito. Carlito says even though the fans hate him, at least he's more of an American than Hassan will ever be. The fans start to cheer for Carlito. Hassan gets in the face of Carlito, then Shelton Benjamin's music hits. Benjamin says he deserves the US Title shot more than both of these clowns. The fans cheer loudly for Benjamin, and Benjamin, Carlito, and Hassan all start to argue with eachother. Teddy Long then comes out and announces a triple threat match between the three for next week's Smackdown. Whoever wins, gets to fight Christian, and not just for a title qualification, but for the title! All three men stare eachother down as the screen fades away... commercial... Backstage Segment: Orton is in Teddy Long's office, arguing with him on how Angle cheap-shotted him. Long says Orton started the fight, and he can finish it! Next week, on Smackdown, it will be Angle vs. Orton! For the WWE Championship! Match: Cruiserweight Championship - Chavo Guerrero vs. Hurricane Ending: Chavo took control late in the match, giving Hurricane a huge Brainbuster, and then applied an STF. He held in the STF for a long time, but Hurricane muscled out of it. Chavo then tried to kick Hurricane, but Hurricane grabed his foot, twirled him around, and gave him the Eye of the Hurricane! Hurricane went for the cover, but only got a two count. Hurricane then went to the top rope, and gave Chavo the Overcastle! He went for the cover once again, but only got a two count. Hurricane then signalled for the Vertabreaker! Hurricane lifted Chavo up in the Vertebreaker position, but somehow Chavo countered it into a pinning predicament! Chavo then grabbed the ropes without letting the ref see him! 1...2...3! Winner and still Cruiserweight Champion: Chavo Guerrero (match time - 13:48) Chavo points at Hurricane and laughs, and says he's smarter than him. Backstage Segment: Eddie is shown with Booker getting ready for their match. Eddie tells Booker the same thing Jericho told Benoit, that even though they were both against eachother in the US Title match at Wrestlemania they're partners tonight, and have to be on the same page. Booker agrees and says they had good chemistry when they were working together in their match last Sunday, and that they'll have the edge tonight because of that. commercial... Match: Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho vs. Booker T & Eddie Guerrero Ending: In a long hard fought battle, neither of these teams will give up. Booker and Eddie have been using alot of good tag team moves and have had the edge for most of the match. They have isolated Benoit from Jericho for most of the match, and have been working on Benoit's legs. Eddie gives Benoit a shin breaker and applies a Lasso from El Paso. Benoit is in extreme pain , but finds a way to fight out of the hold, and fires up on Eddie. He gives Eddie numerous chops, and gives Eddie a back drop. But Eddie quickly gets up and tags in Booker, and before Benoit could tag in Jericho, Booker gives him a chop block and goes right back to work on his leg. Booker gives Benoit a few knee drops, and then applies a figure four leglock. Benoit is now screaming in pain, but won't give up. commercial... Benoit finds a way to make it to the ropes, and gets a rope break, but Booker keeps jumping on Benoit's leg, which is rested on the bottom rope. Benoit slowly gets up, and Booker gives him a sidewalk slam. Booker then picks up Benoit, gives him a few chops, and gives him a spinebuster, and goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks Benoit out. Booker then picks Benoit back up and grabs his leg that he's been working on all match, but Benoit then counters and gives Booker an enzuguri! Benoit then makes it to Jericho and tags him in, and Jericho fires up! Jericho knocks Booker down, then Eddie, then Booker, then Eddie, then gives Booker a snap suplex, then gives Eddie a scoop slam. Booker gets up and Jericho gives him a double underhook backbreaker! Jericho then gives Eddie a bulldog, and then the Lionsault! Booker gets up and knocks Jericho down from behind, but Benoit gets in the ring and gives Booker a German suplex! Benoit keeps his hands clasped, and gives Booker another suplex! But Eddie gets up and knocks Benoit out of the ring! Booker gets up and Jericho tries to give Booker the Walls of Jericho, but Booker counters it into a small package! 1...2...3! Winners: Booker T & Eddie Guerrero (match time - 21:05) Booker and Eddie celbrate as they walk up the ramp, and Benoit and Jericho stare eachother down as Smackdown goes off the air...

We will determine a new #1 COntender for Christian's United States Championship, Teddy Long announced a Triple Threat match for #1 Contendership featuring Shelton Benjamin, Carlito and Muhammed Hassan. Who will get a chance at US gold? Tune in to find out. We will also have a WWE Championship match as Kurt Angle will defend his title against the "Legend Killer" Randy Orton. Who will be the next Champion? Tune in to find out. This and so much more will happen on the next Smackdown!

WWE Smackdown - Week 2 The pyro goes off and Smackdown is underway! Match: WWE Tag Team Championship - Rene Dupree & Kenzo Suzuki vs. William Regal & Tajiri Ending: The match has been abck and forth. Tajiri does a plancha to the outside on Kenzo, and Rene and Regal are the legal men in the ring. Dupree attempts asnorthern lights suplex, but Regal counters it into a double underhook suplex, and applies the Regal Stretch! This modified version of the STF has Dupree screaming in pain, but he makes it to the ropes. Regal lets go as the ref pushes him off, and Dupree clocks Regal in the head with a stiff right forearm. Regal is dazed, but still manages to tag in Tajiri! Tajiri comes in with a rush of kicks on Dupree, and Kenzo tries to knock Tajiri down, but Tajiri throws him out of the ring! Dupree throws Tajiri to the ropes but Tajiri bounces off the ropes and gives Dupree a springboard elbow! Meanwhlie on the outside, Regal gives Kenzo a stiff knee to the face. As both Tajiri and Dupree get up, Dupree hits Tajiri with a hard clothesline. Dupree does his french dance, but Tajiri rolls him up into a small package! 1...2...3! Winners and new WWE Tag Team Champions: William Regal and Tajiri (match time - 17:21) Regal and Tajiri celebrate as Dupree and Kenzo argue with the ref in the ring... commercial... Backstage Segment: Eddie is shown backstage with Booker T. Booker says that him and Eddie should be official tag team partners. Eddie says if Booker can beat Chavo tonight, then he'll be tag partners with him. Booker accepts the challenge. Interview: Steve Romero interviews Regal and Tajiri on their Championship win. Regal says how proud and happy he is to once again be tag champions with Tajiri. But Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki shove Romero out of the way and say they want a rematch. Regal and Tajiri accept. Match Announcment: William Regal and Tajiri vs. Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki for the WWE Tag Team Championships next week on Smackdown. commercial... Match: Booker T w/ Eddie Guerrero vs. Chavo Guerrero Ending: Chavo has suprisingly been controlling most of the match. He's been working on the legs of Booker as of late, giving him knee drops and chop blocks to Booker's left knee. Chavo picks up Booker and gives him a leg whip, and applies a half boston crab on Booker. Booker soon finds a way to crawl to the ropes, and then gets up and starts to chop Chavo. Booker then sends Chao in the corner and gives him some more chops, and then gives him a beel to the center of the ring. Booker then gives Chavo a knee drop, and goes for the cover, but only gets a two count. As both men get up, they exchange rights to the face. Booker gets the upper and and gives Chavo a huge spinning heel kick to the face, and goes to the top rope. As Chavo gets up Booker hits him with a Missle Dropkick! He goes for the cover, but again, only gets a two count. Booker then tries to pick up Chavo, but Chavo quickly pops up and gives Booker a dropkick, and then stomps on Booker's face. Chavo then goes out of the ring to grab a steel chair and his Cruiserweight Championship. Chavo throws the chair in the ring and hides the belt in his chest so the ref can't see it. The ref grabs the chair and goes outside to put it back, and Chavo tries to hit Booker with the belt! But wait! Eddie comes in and gives Chavo a low blow! Eddie tells Booker to stay down, and Eddie wraps the Cruiserweight belt around Chavo's shoulder! Eddie quickly gets out of the ring and the ref sees Chavo with the belt! The ref then disqualifies Chavo! Winner by Disqualification: Booker T (match time - 12:54) Chavo argues with the ref, but the refe holds his decision. Eddie and Booker are now officially a tag team. commercial... Backstage Segment: Eddie is shown with Booker T. Eddie says they are officially a tag team now. Booker says they should challenge for the tag titles next. Teddy Long then walks up to Eddie and Booker and says instead of Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki getting a rematch next week against Regal and Tajiri, they will fight Eddie and Booker in a #1 Contender's match for the WWE Tag Titles. Match Announcment: Instead of Regal & Tajiri vs. Dupree & Suzuki, it will now be Eddie & Booker vs. Dupree & Suzuki for #1 Contendership to the WWE Tag Team Titles next week on Smackdown. Promo: Chris Jericho is in the ring with a mic and announces that next week the Highlight Reel officially returns to Smackdown! And he says his geust will be none other than the Rabid Wolverine Chris Benoit! Jericho says even though Benoit will never be as good as him, he still respects the hell out of him. Muhammed Hassan then makes his way to the ring with loud boos, and grabs a mic. Hassan then bashes the USA and tells Jericho to get the hell out of his ring, and Jericho says nothing, and just gives him a low blow! Jericho walks up the ramp laughing at Hassan. Benjamin and Carlito make their way to the ring and the #1 Contender's match for the United States Championship is underway. Match: Shelton Benjamin vs. Carlito vs. Muhammed Hassan - #1 Contender's match for the United States Championship Ending: This has been a great match with alot of high spots, and Hassan just took control. He threw Carlito out of the ring and goes to work on Benjamin. He gives Benjamin a rear chin lock, and holds it in tight. But Benjamin finds a way out of it, and attempts to give a move to Hassan, but Hassan gets Benjamin ina front facelock position, and drives his elbow on the back of Benjamin's neck, sending him and Benjamin to the mat. Hassan goes for the cover, but Benjamin kicks out at two. Hassan then applies the Camel Clutch to Benjamin! Benjamin is screaming in pain, but Carlito climbs on the apron! Carlito jumps on and off the top rope and gives Hassan a dropkick in the face! Carlito goes for the cover, but only gets a two count! Carlito then picks up Benjamin and gives him a suplex, and then goes to work on Hassan. Carlito applies a sleeper hold to Hassan. Hassan has nowhere to go, but Benjamin out of nowhere nails Carlito with a super kick! Benjamin then goes for the cover on Carlito, but only gets a two count! Hassan then gets up and hits the reverse STO on Benjamin! But before he could get the cover Carlito gets up and hits the back cracker on Hassan! Carlito goes for the cover, but no! Hassan kicks out! All three men are on the ground, but Carlito shows some life and makes his way to Benjamin slowly. Hassan quickly gets up and charges at Carlito, but Carlito throws him out of the ring! Benjamin then gives Carlito a roll up! 1...2...3! Winner: Shelton Benjamin (match time - 18:48) Shelton celbrates as Carlito and Hassan stare eachother down. commercial... Backstage Segment: Chris Jericho is shown walking down the hallway in the lockeroom area, and Benoit approaches him. Benoit says he doesn't like Jericho's attitude lately, saying he's better than Benoit will ever be and all. Jericho tries to say him and Benoit are friends, and he didn't mean to hurt Benoit's feelings. Benoit hesitates to say something, pauses, and then puts his hand out, and Jericho shakes it. As both men were walking away, Jericho says he's still better than Benoit will ever be, and Benoit looks behind him, and gives Jericho a mean look as Jericho walks away with a cocky grin on his face. Backstage Segment: Angle and Orton are both shown backstage getting ready for their WWE Title main event. commercial... Match: WWE Championship - Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton Ending: It has been a long match, and Angle has been working on Orton's legs alot, preparing for the anklelock. After a few shin breakers, leg whips and chop blocks, Angle applies a modified side leg crab on Orton's leg, twisting and cranking it as Orton screams in pain. Orton tries to get to the ropes but is too far from them. Angle is relentless and won't let go. After a few minutes of this grueling subbmission hold, Orton starts kicking Angle in the face with his other foot that he's been trying to get from Angle's grasp, and knocks Angle out of the hold. Angle runs at Orton as he gets up but Orton hits Angle with a quick dropkick, and goes for the cover, but only gets a two count. Orton then gives Angle a couple knee drops to the face, and then applies a sleeper hold. Orton has Angle in his control with this sleeper hold, and may win the match from it... commercial... Angle fights hard to get out of the sleeper hold, but Orton has it firmly locked in. Angle finally gets some elbows in Orton's chest, and runs towards the ropes, but Orton catches Angle and gives him a powerslam! Orton then goes for the cover, but only gets a two count. Orton then picks up Angle and lifts him up in a gutwrench position. Orton then grabs Angle's neck in mid air and slams him down to the mat, with a huge pop from the crowd. Orton looks around and smiles, and then makes his way to the top rope slowly. Orton then taunts the crowd while he is on the top rope, but Anglw quicky runs up the top rope where Orton is at and gives him a super belly to belly suplex! Angle goes for the cover! 1...2...No! Orton Kicked out! Angle then puts down his straps, screams, and locks the anklelock in! Orton is screaming in pain! He can't get out of the hold! Angle won't let go and is willing to make Orton tap! But Orton gets to the ropes and saves himself. As Orton gets up Angle lifts him up for the Angleslam! But Orton ges behind Angle and hits him with a stretch backbreaker! Orton then goes for the cover, but again only gets two! Orton then signals for the RKO, and as Angle gets up, he attempts to hit it! But Angle counters it into another anklelock! Orton is again screaming in pain, but Angle isn't gonna let go! Orton then rolls and pushes Angle off, and Angle charges at Orton, but Orton throws him into the turnbuckle! Orton then gives Angle a school boy roll up! 1...2...NO! Angle kicks out again! As the ref is helping Angle out, Orton runs out of the ring and grabs the WWE Title! Orton is walking up the ramp with the title and says it's his, but Angle runs out and chases him down. They brawl on the outside ramp as the ref is counting. Angle goes for an Anglslam out side, but Orton counters and throws him into the stage wall! The ref then counts to ten and they both get counted out! Winner: No Contest by Double Countout (match time - 20:12) Both men brawl outside, and Orton grabs the belt. As Orton tries to hit Angle with the belt, Undertaker shows up! Undertaker hits Orton with a chokeslam on the stage! Angle grabs the belt on the ground and holds it tight in his chest, not knowing that Undertaker even chame out. Undertaker tries to help up Angle, but before Angl looks up he nails Undertaker with the belt! Angle stares at Undertaker, and slowly walks to the back as Smackdown goes off the air...
