Eric
I simply want to pit ECW against RAW or Smackdown in GM mode. I would like to know what would be the best codes (using gameshark v5) to do this. example: I would like to turn raw or smackdown arena into the ECW arena during GM mode, make single match rules default ECW rules, etc., possibly change the text during GM mode? Let me know what you guys think I can do. Please also tell me what would be savable and what wouldn't Thanks
Aero
well, arena modifiers could be used so that all SD! matches are held at ECW instead, this wouldnt be saveable as far as i know, text could be changed but changing the SD! logo etc would not be possible without actually modding the game and even then it would be tough, the text change would be saveable. im sure you could set singles matches to have ECW rules with codes but again this would not be saveable
Eric
That sounds good, I believe I seen the code for arena changing from SD! to ECW, I wasn't aware that you could do this in GM mode though. Can you do this with the payperviews as well in GM mode? Regarding the text changing, I am a rather lazy person.. So I hate the prospect of actually opening up the game files and modifying them.. But if I was to do this, is there any other way to modify the game files on the actual disk without using the magic slider or PS2 mod chips etc. I own and have used a magic slider for import games in the past and I hate using it cause it wears out my ps2 "door". I do have an HDD on my PS2 can you elaborate on modding using an HDD (perhaps this could be opened up on a new topic.) If anyone has any more ideas for this please let me know. I am looking to try to generate an ECW themed save for my game. Thanks
Aero
no, but there are codes that can modify text, will see what i can find for you, rather than gonig in and changing files.
