pwiaowner Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Hey, I have been reading alot here and am most interested in the following... 1) Putting my own music in the game 2) Putting in more call names (is this possible) 3) Putting in video (is this possible) 4) Changing some settings like Eugene Invitational, Women in all matches, name changing (ex. Masked Kane to Kane) Now, as far as how to do these things, here as far as I've gotten. I've inserted my PS2 disc into my CP and copied all the files into a file on my desktop, came here and read what I needed. Now, I know what I need, but where do I get them and are they free? I hope this is easy to do, I am not new to computers but I must admit I'm new to this, never tried it before. I'd like to start editing the game by myself making small changes at first. I have a burner and know how to burn all that. Just how can I convert these files so I can see what's available for me to change. Like music, I'd like to update some wrestlers music, and add my own. Can someone give me in very easy to read directions, what I need, where to go, and how to type of deal? I would greatly appreciate all of your help if you could. I've read other pages but it just loses me after a while. Something as simple as changing music even. I have the files to SD vs Raw 2006 on my desktop, now how do I change/add something to them. After I do that, I would know how to burn it to a DVD/CD for my own PS2. SOMEBODY HELP!!!!! lol Quote

scoot Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I want to know if you can download music from your I pod to the game. not to be offensive, but even if it was explained to you i dont think you would be able to do it. you need a little experience with certain software, and in the rebuilding of a DVD. either way if you still want to do it ANY of you this is, SEARCH THE FUCKING FORUM BEFORE POSTING, IT PISSES PEOPLE OFF TO SEE THE SAME TOPIC SO MUCH Quote
DRAVEN Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Yep!!! DO A SEARCH I will give U a clue MY USER NAME Quote
mikenorm Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 For the entrance videos and the music you need a few programs. I've done both. The videos I would say don't bother, cause there is a problem with the pixels(meaning your video looks mosaic, choppy). I've tried a bunch of things and cant get it straight. The music and call names you use the same programs. If you download mp3's you need to first convert them to wav files using winamp. Next in sound recorder cut the song down. I would make them about 30 sec long, unless you knoe how to regenerate the afs files. I am assuming that you don't so I'm trying to stay basic. After you cut the song down you save it as whatever name you want, but on the bottom you will see a change button. You want to make all the songs PCM 48.000 KHZ, 16 bit stereo. next in the start up menu goto run and type in command. Then drag your ADXENCD into it hit the space bar and then drag your sound file. hit enter and you will see it converting your wav file to an afs file. After that is done open afs explorer open your bgm file right click on the one you want to change and click import. Give the location of your new afs file and thats it. There are three music files for each superstar, so you need to change all three of them or else you will have your music at the entrance, and the superstars that you replaced it with at the end of the match. This is real confusing, but hopefully it will help. Below is a list of the programs you will need. AFS explorer, ADXENCD, sound recorder(on all computers under program files and entertainment), winamp. also you need to first take the game and put it onto your computer. What i did was make a folder on your desktop an call it smackdown. Put the disk in your drive and copy the game files to your new folder. The files can be looked at using afs explorer. The music files are under BGM(background music). I think all the superstars are under the 2 and 3 files, and the menu music is under 1. You will have to check that i am not positive off hand. Now what I meant up top about each superstar having three music files. You will see under the BGM file ex. BGM2.AFS, BGM2ENVB.AFS, and BGM2ENVH.AFS. under each of those is say example carlito's music. One is face music with crowd cheers behind it, the next will have heel music with boos behind it. The third will just be the music. You need to change all of them, the reason being... If your guy is a heel you want to change the heel file cause thats when the guy first comes out. the music that is plain is at the end of the match. I say to change the third, cause if you ever use you guy as a face you want him to have the same music. I know this is a bit confusing, it took me a lot of time(hours and days) to first get the hang of this. It is well worth it to have your CAWs come out to there original music. Hope this helped. Good Luck. Quote
