About absences, if we have like 20, then yo have to see the BOE in school. Then again, i'm in middle school. In my HS, i think the tardy thing is the same, but up in NJ, we call them Saturday detentions. Quote

Maggot Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 it's been about 10 years since i was in school, but we used to just call it cutting. i cut school for 3 months once & got 2 weeks of in school suspension & at the end of my senior year, i had 123 tardies. they just used to give out detentions, in-school suspensions, or bar you until they see a parent. & every day you miss, they'd call with some b.s. recording. graduated with top honors! good ol' chicago public school systems!
