Yes, you read it: Christian Quits WWE. News broke this afternoon on WWE.com that Jay Reso, known better as WWE's Christian, has quit World Wrestling Entertainment. Rumors suggest that Reso, already unhappy with his current position with the company, refused to sign a contract that was put before him last week as his previous contract had expired.

Christian's role on SmackDown! has certainly not been important. Since moving over to SmackDown! during this year's draft, Christian has remained a mid-card wrestler that has mixed with some of the main event wrestlers for small storylines. A good example is the current angle involving the SmackDown! talent that can be chosen to tag against Edge and Chris Masters at tomorrow's Taboo Tuesday.

We'll have much more on this story for the days and weeks to come. This is a huge score for TNA Wrestling if this thing follows through. Christian is also a resident of Florida, which would be a perfect situation for both parties.

normally smackdown is taped on tuesday. taboo tuesday was on this past tuesday, so therefore they decided to tape smackdown last sunday. end of story.
