N00b Question...

Good to FINALLY find a forum dedicated to Dor hacking! Hopefully, someone can help me out. I've scoured the FAQs for the answer to no avail, so hopefully I didn't miss it.

Anyway, Chillalex's FAQ says this about logo sizing/placement:

[-"What are the values for logo tilt/position/scale?"

I aint got a clue. I never listed them down, but the format is 000000XX, where XX is your value. For size, 00 was default I think and obviously, 77 for example made it larger.]

My question is: how would you go about making it smaller than zero? In other words, what if you wanted to set the width of your logo at, say, -30?

Thanks for the great hacking tools, and hopefully, someone here isn't totally obsessed with DoR 2. :)

Thanks for taking a stab at it. Here are the values I'm concerned with. They're for sizing a Paint Tool logo being used as Pattern 1 on the inner wear of CAW 1 (Bikini 1, in case you're wondering).

0093AA0E 00000000 (vertical)

0093AA0D 00000000 (horizontal)

0093AA11 00000000 (width)

0093AA13 00000000 (height)

I'm leaving off roll because I won't need it. Thanks again!

Erm, you cant go negative, and why would you need to? The only positives of going in a negative size would be your logo gets flipped on whatever axis it is, in which case...just do it in the paint tool? I really dont see why youd need negatives. If you explain what your trying to do maybe I can figure out another way, but im just confused as to why you need to go negative. And for the record you cant, because theyre 8-Bit codes, so theres no way It could be done. Sorry.

And Im glad you enjoyed the codes and tools. Maybe if there had been more feedback I would have done it for DOR2, but oh well. As long as you find them useful, its good.

I was looking to go negative because otherwise, the logo would be stretched over the (female) CAW's top, be about six times larger than I want it to be, and would therefore only be half visible on the Bikini 01 inner wear. Sorry I didn't mention that before...hopefully, that clears things up. Somehow, I had a hunch that going negative was impossible, but I figured I'd be the one to ask the dumb question.

And I, for one, would be happy as a clam in deep sand if these tools were available for DoR 2. *hint, hint*
