It was the first make(or second) of the IC title until it was destroyed by Greg Valentine after losing to Tito Santana in 1985. The reason why I am not sure why its the first or second make cause if you look up the history at wwe.com the early pic they have of a champ is Don Murraco and he was wearing another title and i'm not sure if that was the IC title. There was a video out in the mid 1980's of the history of the Intercontinental title and it had all the title-changing matches til 1985(Tito Santana vs. Randy Savage).
