Thank you, thank you.

Download Link (Right Click and "Save Target As" then when it asks you to save it, change the file extension to .nzb instead of .xml As for some reason it changes it to .xml when you try to save it)

Enjoy! :)

The download is a .nzb file, simply open open it using any Usenet downloading software (e.g. GrabIt) and the game will download for you. It's located in alt.binaries.games.xbox360 so if your ISP doesnt give you access to this group you'll need to signup for Premium Usenet Access. Also the game is 7.2GB so make sure you've got enough free space, downloading from Usenet gives you max speed downloads so fpr me it took around 1h 30mins on a 10MB connection.

If you have no idea what the hell I just said then try reading this tutorial.

Or if you want to download it via a torrent over the next 3 weeks use the links below.

Welcome to Paul's Usenet Tutorial :D

Ok firstly your gonna need the following software.

GrabIt (Link)

Download and install GrabIt, once you've installed it, open it.

On the left hand side of GrabIt there is a section called 'My subscribed groups'. Under this is the 'My GrabIt' option.

Select this and right click it.

Select "Add Server".

Now your gonna need some details about your ISP (The people who you have your internet connection with, i.e. Blueyonder, BT, AOL, etc.)

Now begin filling in your options, these will be specific to the internet provider you use. I use Blueyonder so the following details are for Blueyonder. If you dont have the news server address for your ISP a quick search on Google should help you find it or you could just ring them and ask for it.

Example Info (Blueyonder)

Profile Name: Blueyonder (Just enter a name so you know what server your connectioning to.)

Hostname: news.blueyonder.co.uk (This is the url to your ISP's news server, this will be different for each ISP.)

Port: 119 (This is the default port, there is no need to change this unless you want to run it on a certain port with your firewall.)

Account Name: ******* (This is your internet connection username that you have with your ISP, the one you use to connect to the internet.)

Password: ***** (As with the above this is your password you use to connect to the internet with your ISP.)

If your wondering why you need your internet account details, it's because you can only access your ISP's news server with your account details. This stops people who have AOL Broadband downloading from the Blueyonder servers, etc.

The rest of the options you can just leave as the default.

Now click ok.

Your new server will be created in the left hand side menu, right click this and select "full update groups.", I'm not gonna explain the groups at the moment because using the nzb files you can simply download them once you open the files and you dont have to setup groups, etc.

Now your ready to download the game, simply double click the .nzb file and open it with GrabIt. It'll now ask you to select the server you want to download from. You should have only 1 server to choose, this will be the one you just created. Select this and click ok.

Now click on the "Batch" tab and you'll see your download progress. The files download direct from the Internet Backbone which means you'll get MAXIMUM speed, for me it took 1h 30mins to download the full 8GB on a 10MB connection.

Once it has finished downloading click on the download folder option at the top and it will take you to your downloads. From here simply extract the image file and burn it. Obviously your XBOX 360 will have to be chipped to play the game.

If your ISP doesnt support the news group the game downloads from you'll get an error message telling you that the article is not on the server. If this is the case then you'll have to signup to a Usenet Provider. Files usually stay on ISP servers for only a few days so you'll have to be quick to download it. However if you signup for Premium Usenet access you can download anything and have 90 days before it is removed from the servers.

If your having problems downloading it then reply and i'll try to help you out.

Enjoy! :)

Just thought I'd say before somebody wasted their time downloading this. Make sure your 360 is PAL because it doesn't matter if its chipped/modded it won't work if you have a NTSC system. I'm sure most of you knew this I just thought I would point it out. I'm buying the 360 version when it comes out, but I wouldn't mind the PS2 version to hold me over 'till then. If any of you find a PS2 rip let me know.

the ps2 file is corrupt, for me it is anyway

r.99 has a crc error. and i cant get it fixed. i used the newsgroup download. im gonna try downloading the torrent now.

bottom line, i STILL wont be playing today. i wish people knew how to pack games correctly
