Red Rooster
I am trying to change the Matchup Screen that is displayed when a match is loading in Universe. The files are in LoadHD_dlc03.pac inside DLC3. Here are the steps in taking : 1) Open DLC3 in Le Fluffie 2) In the Contents tab I select the menu folder and then right click the LoadHD_dlc03.pac and choose extract. 3) Give it a name and save it to my C: 4) Open the .pac in Brienj's Yuke Archiver, find the dds files I want to replace and import the ones I want. 5) Save the LoadHD_dlc03.pac that has the modded files in it. 6) In Le Fluffie I right click LoadHD_dlc03.pac and choose Replace file. I replace it with my modded LoadHD_dlc03.pac 7) In the Main Tab of Le Fluffie I hit Rebuild and wait for it to finish. 8) In the Security Tab I click "Sign for Dev LIVE" and then Fix 9) Move the DLC file back to my Xbox I can see that the dds files I have replaced have worked because they are there at the loading matchup screen. The problem is the DLC is not right because if I try to select a DLC wrestler the Selection Picture doesnt show up and the game never starts the match. Any suggestions, I must be doing something wrong but I cant figure out what. Any help would be much appreciated. Edit : Ive made sure the DLC is not locked too. Well with the method your doing can you select A modded textured dlc wrestler and it runs With out freezing the game?. Without adding the match up screen hack you're Doing , cuz I might know what's wrong. Edited April 9, 2013 by Twistedmisery666
Red Rooster
Ok I edited Layla and wrote F*#K across her face and replaced the pac in the dlc, rebuilt it and fixed it and it works fine. Twistedmisery666™
I havent got any modded texture dlc wrestlers and I cant be bothered modding one myself. What do u think might be the problem anyway. Le fluffie has sometimes problems rebuilding Files I'd use xlast if i were you it's better To rebuild stuff with,

Connor MacLeod
Where can I find xlast? I have looked everywhere. Edited April 9, 2013 by ConnorMacleod
Red Rooster
Ok I downloaded the entire SDK just to get XLAST but same result, built a new DLC of the files but it still f*#ks out. I guess it doesnt like you changing the files in the menu section for some reason.

Miztah Raza
Where can I find xlast? I have looked everywhere. It's in the XDK, if you DL the XDK, it'll be in the under the name "XBOX Live Authoring and Submission Tool"
Connor MacLeod
Googling works wonders friend Well no shit, you think lol? I would never have asked if I didn't already try that route. @ Miztah Yeah I found it finally with help from a very helpful person thanks. brienj
I am pretty sure you have to install the complete XDK, in order to properly install XLAST. I don't think you can "reliably" install just XLAST, it is integrated into the XDK.
Twistedmisery666™
Unsurprisingly that didnt work either. That's very odd that's what I had to do to get The dlc textures to work that I textured.

JBP
Red Rooster you ever figure anything out with it? I'd like to replace the LoadHD files as well, but I've had no luck. I've never done any dlc modding though.

Red Rooster
Ok ive made some progress but Im still not quite there. I discovered that when you replace the LoadHD_dlc03.pac in the DLC using Le Fluffie, if you re-open the DLC after you have Rebuilt and Fixed it you will notice that the info folder is now at the bottom and the pac folder is at the top. If you extract and then replace one of the files from the info folder and then Rebuild/Fix the DLC the info folder with move back to its correct location and so will the pac folder. I then tried a DLC modded like this and had the same problem as always, when you try to choose a DLC wrestler the Selection Pic doesnt show up and then everything goes a bit weird. So I was about to give up when I had a look at the DLC file I made using XLAST, sure enough the info folder was at the bottom and pac folder at the top. I replaced one of the files from the info folder and then Rebuilt/Fixed and tried the DLC. This time the DLC wrestler selection pics appear and you are able to select them......unfortunately the game locks up while trying to load a match. Not quite there yet but its progress. TL;DR : I can now make the DLC selection pics show up but game still crashes when loading a match Edited April 11, 2013 by theredrooster
brienj
I think you have a proplem with your DLC, and not a problem. Try fixing the proplem.

Red Rooster
I am able to replace models in the DLC fine but replacing the LoadHD_dlc03.pac causes the DLC to get screwed up. I have even tried just extracting LoadHD_dlc03.pac from the DLC and then injecting it straight back without modifying anything and it still screws up the DLC. Its obviously something about making a change to the menu folder in the DLC but I cant figure out what. It loads fine but when you try to select a DLC wrestler, their Selection Picture is not there and then the game just loads forever and never starts the match.
