    Thank you for providing me with a WEM file! It looks like they’ve switched from Vorbis to Opus, which ww2ogg can’t handle. That at least explains why the file can no longer be played in SE. That is way easier to fix. Importing will likely not work anymore either. They most likely upgraded the Wwise version (Sound Factory probably uses the 2025 version as well). Also, the template currently used by SE is still based on Vorbis. I haven’t had a chance to look at the PCK files yet (still need one), but it unfortunately looks like quite a bit of work… I don’t yet know exactly how many differences there will be between the Wwise versions this time. But one thing is certain: this won’t be fixed with just a small patch.

    Thank you for the kind words, guys! It’s great to see that so many of you still use and enjoy my tools. Could someone with access to Sound Factory send me a converted WEM file or a PCK file from the game? I don’t have access to 2K26 yet, but I’d like to take a closer look at how the files work this year.

    He just awknowledged people on the sound editor board today, so I'm guessing he's working on it now? Can't confirm it for sure though. he's at least aware of people wanting it. I HOPE he releases it.. but were just gonna have to wait and see if it happens.

    If needed I'd pay as well. Unlike members of PWM you've given me content I like without forcing me to conform to stupid rules, your tools has been very useful ever since the 19 days.. I won't mind returning the favor. Payment was never an issue for the previous mods it was more so the principal of having it be on a process (patch breaks tough luck pay us again) its greedy and annoying.

    Please help me!! 😵‍💫 Hello everyone, and sorry to bother you. I'm new here and I've had a small problem since today. I've always used Sound Editor to edit music on 2K25 and I've never had any issues. But today, for some reason, I can't do it anymore! When I try to convert an MP3 file with this software, I get a "conversion to WAV failed" message. I don't know what to do... I have version 2.2.0.0, I've downloaded the 2K25 database update as well as the small C++ files that seem necessary... but nothing works. A little help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, and long live wrestling!

    Wish I knew more, but I don't even own wwe2k19 anymore.. the old pc I had it on is gone are you able to export the mod files out of the tool? Are you sure you merely regenerated the chunk? Do you have old chunks you can use to verify?

    Yes old saves have saved me in the past (pun intended) but in this case nothing seems to restore the wrestlers. The files I edited and inseerted such as arena, music and most of the images are still in there, it's just the characters that are no longer there so it may be what you said and the mods are somehow not in the game anymore? The install mods menus in cct are greyed out so it looks like they are still installed but maybe I'm missing something?

    Typically no, clearly something was wrong though, you said it kept crashing? Regening chunk typically is a good thing in wwe2k19 modding.. are you certain the game has the mod files read still? example: Sometimes there's conflict or desync even with something simple as sound editor.. the editor might red your changes, but the game might not reflect that. if the mod tools says its modded or changed but your game doesn't reflect that.. it could mean it's no longer actually in the game anymore. (Remember in the future to back up old mods and saves)

    Would regenerating the chunk file have wiped them though? I've regenerated it loads of times and it's never done that before, I don't know what was different this time?

    If you 'wiped' your mods you probably have to reimport them. Sorry to hear that man.

    Hi, I know I’m quite late to this topic, but I’m currently facing the exact same issue you mentioned, I've tried replacing the existing slot, it did work("Followed this tutorial https://sf4mods.blogspot.com/2013/11/adding-wrestlers-as-dlc-in-wwe-2k14-x.html, everything covered except the thing which I'm mentioning"), but I don't want to replace the existing wresters, Could you please tell me were you able to add a new slot in catalog.dlc (In folder like \USRDIR\catalog003\info, catalog004\info, catalog005\info) to add wrester, If you did, pls guide me if miss anything/doing wrong, Thanks in advance! I tried using the modded dlc which has 32 slot(downloaded from the same thread), game crash before load the save. Ps3 @Impaler @Red Rooster

    My brother - im sure most of the people out there are begging for you to update it. You were the one who made it possible for so many others to modify the game in terms of adding custom themes to the game. We dont want you to update your Sound editor, we need you. Youre a true hero for the wrestling community, i hope you wont leave us to that paywall.
