Unfortunately WWE 2K20 can't be modded in the same way as previous games so far, as 2k has encrypted/compressed all their game files into one, the encryption appears to have changed each patch (an early, pre-DLC version was cracked with the help of the FIFA modding community and people were able to extract some of the assets from that version and allowed them to be backported to older games, but nothing since the DLC). In addition. all the .pofo, .moveset, .team_info files are now hooked dynamically into memory which means tools like CCT can't be used to easily install/update these file types either. The following things can be modded in WWE 2K20 (Refer to the Installing Mods wiki page to see how):
- Entrance Music, announcements, commentary and other sound: You can use Sound Editor 2019 to update the Sound just like you would with WWE 2K19. - Titantrons: Titantrons can be changed (but probably not added) just like in previous games and use the same basic format. Note that no other Trons (Mini, Stage, Ramp, Ring, etc..) can be modded due to the .pac files being inaccessible and encrypted. - .pofo, .moveset, .team_info: You can do so "the hard way" manually via cheat engine. Tools like CCT can't install these files as WWE 2K20 hooks them into memory dynamically, which means these files are located elsewhere in memory on every save load. In addition, there is no version of Data Editor for WWE 2K20 so you'll have to mod these files via Hex Editor instead. In addition, most of these files haven't been analyzed and broken down properly yet, which would have to be done to change and install them effectively first.
