Sound Editor error, couldn’t inject file when importing

So basically I followed all of the required steps, from downloading the correct WWISE version and setting its directory, to converting my MP3 files to WEM.

The issue here is now when I want to choose an audio to replace by importing the new .WEM file, it gives me an error message at the bottom left saying “Error: couldn’t inject file”. 

Any solutions to this? I’ve been using sound editor since WWE 2K18 and have always followed the correct steps, but this is a first for me.

I'm having this SAME issue. When I first used this tool I had no issue.
But now, I get the same error "Error: Couldn't inject file data" - and I haven't been able to find a solution either.
