@Motown HeroWow, thanks!  Those lists will definitely come in handy.  Actually most everyone will get made minus some of the really impossible guys (Mark/Joel Youngblood) or guys who we've done other gimmicks of (since we did Vinnie Vegas, there won't be a Master Blaster or Oz version of Nash).  1993 is when the roster starts expanding a lot, most everyone from 1992 was still there (minus Doc/Gordy) and then Flair came back, Sid returned, Bulldog showed up, Harlem Heat debuted... I'm curious what the roster size jumped up to towards the middle of 1993 lol.

Anyways here's the pics of Friday's upload.  See the OP for his face.

The Shockmaster
Shockmaster-2-K19-CAW02.png

So the one main drawback on the Shockmaster was the fact that 2K never added Typhoon's hair into CAW mode, so I had to go with the best option and a hair texture.

His first attire is what he wore at pretty much every PPV in late 93/early 94

Shockmaster-2-K19-CAW03.png

His 2nd attire is Fall Brawl 1993 (and on both attires, there's hidden color change logos for his light blue and tan shirts, if anyone wants to change things up)

Shockmaster-2-K19-CAW04.png

And the 3rd slot had to be done considering there's a Stormtrooper mask in the game that can have glitter put on it :)

As always, credit and huge thanks to Keith Majors for his moveset!

I'm not exactly sure who'll be next.  It might be one of WCW's "finest" musicians, or it'll be a certain Japanese wrestler that people have been waiting for.

Once again, you're welcome Replicant. Happy to be of service. After all, this community is all about helping out one another. So, anyway to help someone make the game fun is always a top priority. The Shockmaster turned out great too. Like I said before, his debut will forever live in infamy.

Anyway, you said something about the 1993 WCW roster, right? Well, here it is. I think playing out this year will be quite the treat.

@Motown Hero Thanks man!  Yeah 1993 will be a lot of fun, the other years will be too but 1993 is when a lot more familiar faces debuted or returned.  Early 1994 was pretty good too, the Flair/Steamboat feud didn't give us anything as good as their 1989 matches but it still had its moments.  I think we've got a little over 25 caws still to go; there's a few major names left (Muta) and then a lot more depth that will be added.

And this guy just went up a couple hours ago...

Van-Hammer-Graphic.jpg

"Heavy Metal" Van Hammer is uploaded!  He's got 2 attires (Clash 17 and 18); I should have full pics posted tomorrow or Sunday.

You're welcome, Replicant! I'm just happy to help someone out with how they want to build their Universe. Thankfully, you'll be able to play out Sting and Vader's feud, along with Terry Funk vs Dustin Rhodes, and Stunning Steve vs Johnny B. Badd. I'm trying to remember what year Sting defeated Meng for the US Title. That would be a fun match to re-live.

Anyway, Van Hammer looks good. I still remember him best with the hippie persona. Like he used to say "Sometimes you have to be  violent, to get a little peace."

Thanks, yeah actually the Sting vs Meng match was 1995 if I remember right.  Meng was pretty much just Col Parker's bodyguard until late 1994 when the Dungeon of Doom started, although if we had room for more 1994 guys he definitely would've made the list.  He was supposed to debut/wrestle at Fall Brawl in War Games, but they changed the match at the last minute to protect the heels by adding Col Parker as a wrestler -- and of course that's the match that ended with Parker crapping his pants on PPV after taking a few elbows from the Nasties :p

Here's the pics of Friday's upload.  See the OP for his face.

As always, credit and huge thanks to Keith Majors for his moveset!

There should be a duo coming later this week that a lot of people have been waiting for that should complete another stable (or at least as much as we're going to be completing it).

And while I'm here, there's been waaaay too many people stealing my CAWs as of late.  I had Scotty Flamingo stolen by 2 people this past week, both versions of Pillman have been ripped off, Larry Z, Cactus, Funk, and a couple others.  I know there's not much else I can do other than not share the CAWs with everyone, and I'd hate for it to come to that, so if any aspiring CAW thieves are reading this, knock it the fuck off.

Wow after all the hard work you have done it looks like people would appreciate it, rather than steal it and upload it. I'm sorry about that atleast the people here know you made those caws, and put hard work into them. I wish we could put comments on the caws like we used to. Because I know I'd be talking to those people who stole your caws and be blasting them.

Thanks man yeah it's mostly noobs on CC.  The people who stole Scotty Flamingo took him down, but the Pillman thief... I wish I could post my "conversation" with him here.  He says he's "adding variety" (by stealing other people's creations??) and "would've credited me" but his "internet cut out" (yet he had time to tag it with about 50 promotions Pillman was never a part of, and he never credits anyone he takes from).  This guy has stolen a bunch of Dre's AEW CAWs, Kung Fu's Owen attires, Saul's Omega and Neville (with a generic ass face), and he just stole someone's Mox.  Oh well, there's one or two every year I guess.

Anyways, CC being down for 3+ days set me back quite a bit but a couple new guys finally -- yes, FINALLY @BobbyHeenan -- went up :)

The-Dragonmaster-Graphic.jpg
The-Great-Muta-Graphic.jpg

Muta has hidden face paints (I believe 7 different face paints) that can be swapped by hitting RT and doing "Logos in use".  I'll post full attire pics in a couple of days, or if you want to see their faces before then, you'll just have to download the caws :)

Holy hell.... I knew it'd be worth the wait, but you've outdone yourself, these guys are AMAZING! I love what you did with Dragonmaster's demon mask, and their movesets are on point!! I never thought we'd have an even near accurate Dragonmaster, wow!!!

I just hate how the game mechanics mar an otherwise perfect caw. trying to get the poison mist to go off is like pulling teeth, it's slow, easily interrupted, AND gets you disqualified if done in front of the ref. I take it 2K devs never watched Muta, Kabuki or Tajiri do it.

Thanks again!!!!

The J-Tex Corporation is complete! Fantastic work as usual. It's great to see the late 80s WCW roster getting well represented. Here's hoping that more of the older guys from that period (ie Orton, Murdoch, Gilbert) make it into this great project.

And as always, screw the geeks that steal caws.

Thanks, I'm glad you like them and I hope they were worth the wait!  Yeah Dragonmaster almost didn't make the cut because of the limited options for him but one I got the mask kind of working, he had to be made.

I really wanted to include more Muta attires but his 1993 white attire would've been another 7-9 logos.  You can make his super early look (with the all-black robe) though as I included the kanj logo invisible on that; all you should have to do is make the red designs along the arms and neck invisible.

As for the mist, I agree, they really need to tweak the payback system mechanics and possibly consider making it a 3 tier system.  It's weird not being able to give Muta (and guys like Tajiri or Kabuki) resiliency AND the mist, so in this case I boosted Muta's kickout and durability stats fairly high so even without resiliency, he should be able to withstand a decent beating. One workaround you could do for him is to change one of his signatures to the mist, as the ref won't DQ you then (although it doesn't have the same effect on the opponent as the payback version of the mist does).  Or what I've been doing is turning DQ's off in the custom match options.  If you keep it as is, the best way to do it without getting DQ'ed is to remove one of the turnbuckle pads and do the mist when the ref is putting it back on.

Thank you!  If we had 10 more CAW slots Murdoch would've definitely made the group, and I considered Orotn but he was only there at the beginning half of 1989 so he probably won't be made this year.  But next year, if the project we've been talking about happens, he'll probably be one of the first guys made.

I lost count but I think there's around 23-25 more guys still to come this year.  There's quite a few tag teams left (SST and the Freebirds stick out as the "most needed") and a few solo wrestlers.  I won't spoil who's next, but I'll say that he's a super-heavyweight that I made back in 2K16.

And since the whole group is on CC at the same time, Keith made this:
J-Tex-Corporation-Graphic.jpg

so for anyone who needs Gary Hart or Buzz Sawyer, get them soon as they're uploaded for the rest of the weekend.

And I should have Muta/Dragonmaster pics posted tomorrow or Monday.

Here's the pics of the latest uploads . See the OP for their faces.

The Dragonmaster
Dragonmaster-2-K19-CAW02.png

His first attire is from Clash of the Champions X (the 6-man tag match in a cage that's most remembered for Sting injuring his knee)

Dragonmaster-2-K19-CAW03.png

Dragonmaster-2-K19-CAW04.png

And his 2nd attire is fairly plain but I couldn't ever get a good look at his black robe with the kanj on it, it's from an episode of WCW Main Event in 1990.

Dragonmaster-2-K19-CAW05.png

The Great Muta
Great-Muta-2-K19-CAW02.png

Muta has a bunch of hidden attires, but the visible one works for Clash X or Halloween Havoc 89

Great-Muta-2-K19-CAW03.png

His 2ind slot is 1992; the visible paint is from the WCW/NJPW Supershow 2 (Sting/Muta vs the Steiners), but there's also red paint with blue kanj which works for Starrcade 92:  BattleBowl.

Great-Muta-2-K19-CAW04.png

Here's his entrance attires...

Great-Muta-2-K19-CAW05.png

...and here's every face paint that I included:

Great-Muta-2-K19-CAW01.png

They're all stored invisible on his trunks, so just go to the paint on his face, hit RT for "logos in use", and you can easily switch between them.  Or just delete the ones you don't want :)

As always, credit and huge thanks to Keith Majors for their movesets!

We should have another new guy coming sometime tomorrow, I'll post pics as soon as he's done.

So can anyone think of a better way to follow up The Great Muta, one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, than THIS guy?

PN-News-Graphic.jpg

:)

WCW's rapmaster P. N. News is uploaded!  He has 3 visible attires and one hidden possible attire.  Pics should be up in a day or two.

Here's the pics of Wednesday's upload.  See the OP for his face.

P. N. News
PN-News-2-K19-CAW02.png

Now I made him way back in 2k16 but nobody got him, and I'm not expecting a ton of d/ls this year either, but he's essential to the era, and he's actually a lot of fun to play as.

He's got 3 visible attires and 1 hidden one.  The first one is his green "Yo baby" singlet.  I wanted to include the logos for the orange version of it as well but there weren't enough layers and the logo placement was a bit different.

PN-News-2-K19-CAW03.png

The 2nd attire is his GAB '91 attire (and also what his WCW Galoob prototype figure was based on)

PN-News-2-K19-CAW04.png

The 3rd slot has attires from Main Event and Worldwide.  He wore these quite a bit, just never on PPV.

The pink/black attire is visible...

PN-News-2-K19-CAW06.png

...but if you select the logos, hit RT for "Logos in use", and replace them with the corresponding neon green logos, you get this attire:

PN-News-2-K19-CAW07.png

(or of course you can just delete whatever logos you don't want)

As always, credit and huge thanks to Keith Majors for his moveset!

There should be a new tag team coming this weekend or early next week if all goes as planned, and with a few slight edits, this team should work for people doing WWF Universes too.

Here's the pics of the most recent CAWs.  See the OP for their face pics.

The Texicans

Tex Slazenger

Attire 1 is 1993-94

Tex-Slazenger-2-K19-CAW03.png

and the 2nd attire is 1992-93

Here's his entrance gear....

Tex-Slazenger-2-K19-CAW05.png

Shanghai Pierce
Shanghai-Pierce-2-K19-CAW02.png

Of course his attires match Tex.  The first slot is 1993-94

Shanghai-Pierce-2-K19-CAW03.png

And the 2nd slot is 1992-93 (they didn't wear matching gear here, but they always wore the same thing)

Shanghai-Pierce-2-K19-CAW04.png

And his entrance gear...

Shanghai-Pierce-2-K19-CAW05.png

As always, credit and huge thanks to Keith Majors for their movesets!  If anyone does want to convert them to the Godwinns, Shanghai has a face under his mask and it takes about 5 minutes of attire part swaps (t-shirt, bib overalls, boots, and some facial hair changes).  Their movesets also work for the Godwinns although you'll want to give PIG a mule kick signature and change their heel taunts.

And we've got another new guy coming in the next couple days who was probably better known for his cup of coffee in the WWF, but he was way cooler in WCW.

Maxx-Payne-Graphic-1.png

Maxx Payne is uploaded!  He's a bit logo heavy and I apologize for that but his coat took 9 logos and he's got a few hidden shirts on each slot.

I'll have full attire pics posted sometime this weekend, and up next should be a tag team/stable.

So for anyone that wants proper movesets for Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, they're uploaded on ExplodedJoker81.

And I should have the Maxx Payne pics up tomorrow for anyone who wants to see them.

These are absolutely incredible.

All of the PC players are looking over the fence, with a tear, wishing they could play with these.

Really great job.

Thanks man!!  We're all jealous over here of you guys on PC too lol.  You, Matt2282p, and others have put out some amazing stuff this year.  I REALLY wish it was possible to use your WM4 arena (and all the others you made) on Xbox.

Here's the Maxx Payne pics.  Face shots can be found in the OP.

Maxx Payne
Maxx-Payne-2-K19-CAW02.png

There were no "great" hair options for him so I used 2 different ones.  The longer hairstyle works best for mid/late 1993 and into 1994, while the shorter hair is best for his early heel look.  And all I can say is that jacket was a bitch :)

His visible attire 1 is from Starrcade 93

Maxx-Payne-2-K19-CAW03.png

His visible attire 2 is from Clash XXIV vs Johnny B. Badd

Maxx-Payne-2-K19-CAW04.png

And using logo opacity, these extra shirts are included -- or you can just delete the extra logos if you don't want them.

Maxx-Payne-2-K19-CAW05.png

As always, credit and huge thanks to Keith Majors for his moveset!

Be sure and get Keith's RnR Express movesets if you haven't gotten them.  Also Keith just uploaded a Ricky Steamboat moveset for a limited time so be sure to grab that too.

There should be a trio coming sometime this week, they're a lot of logo work so I don't know exactly when they'll be done but it'll either be right before or right after the 4th of July holiday.

I forgot to post this last night, it goes along with Keith's Steamboat moveset

Ricky-Steamboat-Graphic-2.jpg

I still plan on making an alt for the in-game Steamboat '94 model but that'll be one of the last things I do as the CAWs are more needed.  So for anyone who wants a proper moveset for Steamboat, it's uploaded on Keith's ExplodedJoker81 account.

These all look great Replicant. That Steamboat attire looks good. Can't wait to see Stan Hansen. The last good one I remember was back on the 360 when American Dream made one, but I'm sure you and Keith will knock it out of the park. Thank goodness for the new lariat they added to the game.
