This is the last thing about 2k17 I've been looking forward too. DLC, Creation, Backstage Brawls, Crowd Fighting, and Universe is what I've been focused on

Also, really liking the lack of renders, it's definitely going to encourage me to use caws more.

YES! I have been hoping for a 3rd men's belt since Universe has been in these games. AT LEAST let me get rid of the Diva belt and put a male belt there if I choose to. If I can create an all women show.... WTF?

yeah since i'm on current gen, i can't just mod that title slot anymore lol plus now that there's a CW division on Raw it makes sense lol

Manual Runins like the My Career options

easier way of editing stuff (this was a much needed change)

and even though they didn't directly confirm or mention it, i believe that cutscenes will happen in non-rivalry matches.

i also don't think that promos take up a match slot.

so for me, i'm liking what i've read.  It's a huge step in the right direction

would you rather have all that extra stuff (the extra stuff that caused problems in the first place) ?

To be fair Jai, I agree, nothing really has changed.  You notice how they didn't show you the promo in action? It's just going to be shit text on the screen.

I'm a bit underwhelmed but if they've fixed all the broken stuff, at least it will be playable this year.

well as i said what did people really expect.. they are still cleaning up yukes' and thq's messes. i consider this the reboot year.

and yeah since samoa joe isn't dlc hopefully the future stars pack won't break universe this year. (there was a bad joke that he sat on universe too long and broke the mode when his dlc came out. )

2K14 was not their game. and they just scrapped universe but that's your opinion whatever but bitching just cause you can't assign a damn manager when clearly there has been plenty of stuff added which is what i mentioned (not typing it again) like i said baby steps. this is the official reboot of universe. either deal with it or cancel preorder. there are your options. i don't like 2k any more than i liked thq but to constantly attack them when clearly they are reading wishlists etc  is ridiculous. like i said what did you expect and you still haven't answered that question

I think it's the opposite. I actually think you can assign managers. Paul notices in his recap video, in the show banner, where the champions are shown, Dana Brooke is present. Since Charlotte is the current champion as seen below I think she is assigned as her manager.

You can manually assign managers in 2k16 but you have to do it yourself before each match. There does not appear to be an option for it in the edit wrestler screen.

I do like the sound of filtering just that brands wrestlers, I hope thats for match creation too

SIGH: promos, show intros, editing isn't done thru 15 million click through screens. Rivalries don't seem to be based on A vs B anymore but back to based upon who you have set in your allies/rivalries setups like how it was in wwe12. yes it wasn't anything ground breaking, but as long as it isn't game breaking i think we should be able to cope with it. plus the code fro universe from like SVR11 - WWE13 was so bad (i don't know about 2k14 cause i never dissected that game) that universe could have easily been removed. is that really what you want to happen?

yeah i think that (or a 3rd title slot altogether tied universally to either men or women) and not being able to add managers to stables are the only 2 things i feel that are really missing. i'd expect that title situation to be fixed by next year's game though (as long as wwe doesn't "get rid of" the cruiserweight division again)

To be honest did you guys really expect any real significant changes? Considering they've actually added quite a lot to this game (especially compared to previous releases) I think it's fair to give them a pass on this one. It's not like they've done nothing, they have made improvements and built a stronger foundation to build upon for future releases. Yes it is a little disappointing, but all in all I'd say we've made out pretty well this year.
