[TUTORIAL] How to add updated attires as alternate attires (without Xpacker)

Ever seen a great updated attire mod by the community, but didn't want to replace the existing attire? Here's your solution. I'm not sure if this has been discovered before, but there was no tutorial regarding this and I thought I'd make one, specifically on how to add both ring and entrance attire in one pac file.

Things you will need:

1) Hxd: http://mh-nexus.de/en/downloads.php?product=HxD

2) Cave Waverider's Universal Attire Unlock mod: http://smacktalks.org/forums/topic/56574-universal-alternate-attire-unlock/

3) Updated attire pac file: I'm going to use ph_guy's Bray Wyatt mod, but this should work for any pac file (Link to the Bray Wyatt mod - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-ZNyC102hA)

NOTE: Backup all pac files that you will be editing/replacing, in case you make a mistake or you want to revert the changes.

NOTE 2: This only works for mods having one attire in the downloaded pac file. (UPDATE: For multiple attire packs, check out my other tutorial: http://smacktalks.org/forums/topic/58820-tutorial-how-to-convert-pach-to-pac-and-extract-pach-from-pac-without-xpacker/)

Thanks to HerFyre, who gave me much help in this regard.

If anybody finds it difficult to follow this tutorial, I can upload pictures of the steps as well.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1: Downlaod the updated attire pac file.

Step 2: Open it up in HxD and scroll till you see a bunch of numbers on the right side. (for example, Bray Wyatt's id is 398, so the you would find 00039802 and 00039804 there). For wrestlers who do not have a separate entrance attire, only the first number will be there. The zero in this case represents the attire number (0=attire 1, 1=attire 2, 2=attire 3 etc) and the two/four distinguishes between entrance and ring attire (2=ring attire, 4=entrance attire)

Step 3: Change the attire number value to whichever slot you want. I'm going to put it in slot 3, so the values will become 00039822 and 00039824.

Step 4: Rename the pac file to the id followed by the slot you put it in, followed by 0. So in this case, it will be ch39820.pac

Step 5: Paste the file in pac/ch folder in your WWE 2K15 folder, and you're good to go :)

Here are the pictures of the tutorial as requested. I've only done pictures of steps 2-4 because I think step 5 is simple enough: http://imgur.com/a/TPIZQ

i was able to understand from step 1-5 but the only part i don't understand is that after adding attires like you added ....why did you renamed the pac file to CH39820.pac ?? why did you add 20 in the end ??

The 2 represents the number of the attire in this case it will be in attire 3 therefore the 2.  So after you have hex edited the changes you rename the pac file by adding the number of the attire and a 0 at the end.

Exactly. Zero at the end includes both the ring and entrance attire.

i have alc sting mod the one with multiple attires. I wanted to put it in attire 10.  Having same issue with bannocks nash into tekkens mod.  I have however been able to do balor joker attire.

The trick should work with Sting, but it won't work with Nash. Nash has a problem which only unlocks 9 attires for him I think. Did you put the number as 9 for the attire slot in Sting? Also, the mod should have only one attire. If Bannock's mod has two attires (excluding entrance attires that is), it won't work.

Now tel me if I want to add another attire in slot 5 then which no..will come..?

4 know..

Yes.

but should there be 10 instead of 20 because bray has only one attire and TheHeartbreakKid is adding only one attire so there should be 0039812 instead of 0039822 ?? i might be wrong so can you clear that up please ?? :(

now every thing is clear :D ....so now we can edit texture and inject the new texture in the pach file using xpacker 9 and editing it using HXD as an alternative attire and maybe it might work :p
