ThePowerOrg. Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Hello all, I've been working on a few publications such as eBooks, characters, and magazines for wrestling. I've noticed wrestling gimmicks/character creation has become more difficult for people to develop these days or even accept a variety of them. I personally think this has a lot to do with what we all have been seeing on professional grounds of wrestling such as WWE and TNA. More and more people tend to pick wrestlers that are already established and then they cater to those wrestlers by only accepting gimmicks/characters similar to what they've seen on TV. A lot of times when I discuss character creating or gimmicks with people it's very rare that something 'different' or unique will spawn. I want to ask anyone reading; what happened to gimmicks in wrestling? and where are the characters that people can relate to like before? Quote
